Flavor is of subdued grassy, earthy hops and some faint citrus coupled with a sweet, caramel malt backbone. Mouthfeel is clean, crisp and medium-light with a moderate carbonation. Overall rating: A-
That's MadZilla. She's basically the tattooed-female mascot for stoners. Check this out. It's her and B-Real from Cypress Hill. He has a series on youtube called "The Smokebox" where he smokes with various celebs in his car, from Tommy Chong to rappers to former NBA stars like John Salley. But yeah, this is the MadZilla episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZ1RUnL5k1M
Bruery Terreux, which is based in your state, in Anaheim, is considered to be perhaps the best (or one of the best) brewery for sours in the entire US. Their beers are expensive as fuck, though.
Now drinking E Pluribus Lupulin No 1: SILVIS double IPA from Gun Hill Brewing out of The Bronx, NY. 8.5% ABV Awesome beer. A-
Sweet. A quick Google search pulls up a bunch of shit... worth "pulling". (Yeah, that was cheesy, but hey... fromage is a cool word.) (Plus, have I mentioned I'm no longer sober?) I'd watch that vid, but hell if I have that kind of attention span right now!
OH YEAH! I'm on beer #3/#4! (I've had the first glass, heading to refill now.) (Alc. 13%) Smellin: Seems to lead with a fruity sour bite, leaning to cherry. Then a sweetness with a faint whisper of cracker. All with an aura of dank cellar. Tastin: Thick tart, bready cracker up front. Sweet woodiness quickly transitions in. Heavy on the backend, alcohol warmth follows through just a bit. Overall, a thick bullish flavor. Slight tartness buoyed with sweet malt, with smoky wood rounding out the background. I swear there's a bit of grass in there too.
And to think... I'm not done! (In fact, I'm about to go "in-world" in Second Life.) (This usually means I've left sobreity somewhere on the path more travelled. lol)
Glass in the guest room I forgot about has more Moss than beer left in it. I bet that shit has some use...I just don't know what.
