    First of all, thanks. :)
    Second... I don't see why you couldn't!

I was mentioning what beer I was drinking for a year, maybe two, before I started giving any reviews at all.
Over the past few years I've learned a lot about different flavor profiles and whatnot.
Made my own Mr. Beer batch once (my added touch was a bunch of baby carrots), which helped, I'm sure.

But then it's just a matter of transposing rote descriptors for something more unique.
Like, instead of "front forward pine", you could use "pine strides confidently to the front".
After a little while, you naturally think in those terms.

    And speaking of describing beers...
it's time to hit up the second (and strongest) beer of the night!

Beer #2 (sorry the pic's so huge):
    (Alc. 10%)
    (Double Nickel - Brick Face)

Smellin: Raisins, plum/fig and malt borne upon a bready body. (Perhaps a bit of far distant wet hay?)

Tastin: Tempered plum/fig and malt come forward on a bready body. A suggestion of wet hay walks up, holding hands with some raisins. Dry exit.

Overall, kinda weird, but not bad. The raisin notes are well tempered, enough that I'm not annoyed by their profile at all. There's a dry and just slightly bitter lingering after each sip is said and done. Barely boozy, almost too small to notice. But yeah... not bad.

(I'm not even trying for a pic on this one.)

    And now for dessert.
I mean, yeah, it's beer and all.
    But still...

Look, just check out the beer and you'll catch my drift.

    Beer #3:
    (Alc. 6.5%)
    (Dark City - Blue Bishop)

Smells: Lactic blueberries presented on a biscuit.

Tastes: Lactic blueberries. Biscuit body. Background hay funk.

Overalls, this is fairly tasty. Not as strongly blueberry as I hoped for, but smooth and enjoyable. A bit of bitter hops along the way, but just barely.

(Didn't find anything great to post for a pic.)
(If you find one, feel free to post it here!)

I stopped for a Freehouse Pink Squirt Saison during a bike ride. This beer is so refreshing on a hot day, it tastes like a slightly bitter lemonade with a kick. I dig it

Hudson Valley has become one of my top THREE favorite breweries. They fucking rock!!

    Their specialty is sour IPAs.

dHop6 from Equilibrium. Tropical and dank AF with a very weed-like character. Raw and super aggressive hop bite to this.

'What Up' New England style pale ale from Rochester NY's Fifth Frame Brewing Co.

Zesty, crisp, light, and packed with hop flavor. Nice bite to this!!

Thinking of exploring hopless beers, or “gruits.” They sound interesting.

Genesee Cream Ale with lemon slices. I shouldve thought of this earlier saved money not buying shandy.

    Hey there, everyone!
Stopping in for my (almost) weekly drinkening... just to find out that Hanson has a freakin beer!!!
The fuck kinda craziness is this?
And, out of all of us, who's going to try it first and let the rest of us know if it's shitty or not?!?
    Inquiring minds want to know!

I don't have any reviews prepared yet, cuz the forum I usually post to first is currently down. :(
So, I'mma go get my beer prepped, then get to reviewing!

    Also...

Normally, I wouldn't bother with something under 6% alcohol, but whatcha gonna do when badge whoring on Untappd?
Plus, the one other beer I had from these guys was pretty good (4/5 if I remember correctly.)

    Anyway, time for that drink!

    Beer #1:
    (Alc. 5.6%)
    (Einstok - Arctic Pale Ale)

Smell: Bready body comes forward while holding hands with faintly sweet malt. Wheat characteristics helping define what smells like a fairly traditional ale.

Taste: A wheat and bread body, with subtle spices. Faintly sweet malt helps round out this brew, before a bitter moment on the far end.

Overall, it's a decent ale. The bitter hops grows a bit as you make your way through it, but not badly so. I'm not jumping for joy, but I could see this being my drink for the night at some party or something.

    Aaaand a fitting pic:
