Yeah, I have years worth of posts where I was using Photobucket as my host.
Now they suddenly want to charge $400/yr to do the same thing.
    Fuck that.

Apparently Imgur is free... and allows adult material.
So, I'm probably going to start using that going forward.
But there's no way I could look up my old shit and re-link to Imgur.

I'm really pissed at Photobucket right now.

Well, that's possibly horribad... or maybe really tasty.
Had enough alcohol that it's hard to tell at this point.

I added a small ("airplane size") bottle of Patron Cafe XO to my latest bottle of Arrogant Bastard I've been drinking tonight.

    Why?

    because it's time.

Golden Monkey was my shit back in my early days of craft beer (circa 2003-04) and I "remember" getting black out drunk on it several times. Now I probably wouldn't even be able to stomach the shit.

This is ranked alongside Heady Topper and Focal Banger as being not only one of the best Vermont IPAs, but one of the best American IPAs altogether. I personally think it's a wonderful, well-crafted beer, but probably not worthy of the hype it gets.

Earlier I checked out a new bar/brewery/bottle shop that just opened nearby, called WhichCraft Brews. They offer over 50 beers on tap, plus many more in cans/bottles. I decided to start with a flight.

    From L to R

Confliction from Sloop Brewing (a sour), Carton Boat Beer (a pale ale), Victory's 'Java Cask' (imperial stout), and Nibs & Beans Speedway Stout (imperial stout) from Alesmith.

Drinking La Roja from Jolly Pumpkin, a sour amber ale. Tons of sweet and sour flavors here. Lots of tart cherry and sour apple, and an earthy funk coupled with a semi-dry finish.

    I love me some sours!!

Yes, they are very good. All their beers are aged in oak, which contains naturally occurring brettanomyces.

Drinking Skadoosh from The Alchemist. It is a 7% ABV IPA. This is jeans creamingly good. Holy fuck!!! This is my 2nd time having this, and I can easily say it's better than Heady Topper and Focal Banger.

    4.9/5
