    Right now that would really upset and scare me. I feel like I don't mind if there's a spirit around watching over me but I do not want to know that they are there when they are.. if that makes sense?

    That makes sense. I don't think most spirits want to to bother you anyway. I have been told it's like when you are alive death does not change your personality. So if you were an asshole in life you will be in death. But since most people are good chances are you have a good one in the house.

    In my previous experiences I've attracted rather mischievous and tricky ones, not so good. I did try and remedy that and learn from it and I've done well so far. :) about..7 years moved on since my incident.
