Hubby's potassium was low both times he was in. The last time, they got it too high and gave him a laxative to bring it down.

Please, please, please don't lift a finger between now and when you get together on Christmas afternoon. The kids are more than able, and willing I'm sure, to do everything you need to have done.

    Right.

    Vent hood complete.

Next comes moving the stove in and getting that connection done.

The misconception with "pool shark" is, I've learned that "sharking" or to be a "shark" is actually the term for somebody who tries to put the opponent off their game by either like, trash talk, or being visible when an opponent needs to shoot or something simple like telling your opponent that "oh you're cueing straight today" in an attempt to get them to focus on that positive information more so than the game. Which I don't do, so I'm not a shark. :D

    Okay.

    Gas isn't happening tonight.

I got the stove "dropped" in, finally. The back wheel was bent up. Consequently, the back left corner was sticking in the vinyl. Anyway, strong-armed the shit out of it and got it in.

Moved the microwave off the counter, out of hubbies way. Rocked the stove forward so he could lean in there and connect the hose to the gas stub.

Son of a bitch. He never tried the line female connector on the gas stub. It doesn't fit.

Some day, we will take the copper tube, that he hack sawed off the old stove, to the appliance parts store and let them find what we need.

Meanwhile, the gas connection kit can go back to Lowe's and we can get that $37 back.

    Fuck it.

February will be fine with me.

Hubby is hating himself and actually said that he feels incompetent to do anything.

I don't want to hear the word "stove" between now and Christmas.

the radiator here is in the way of the stove

cant open the bottom drawer more than 1/3 and moving the stove more than 5 inches forward means lifting it 6 inches first to get over that rad

Unless you want to open the door fully.

I am truly starting to see the benefits of having a landlord.

so i made a fleece and flannel quilt for the baby, out of an old plaid pillowcase the dog chewed a hole in (covered the hole with a diamond of contrasting fleece) and still need to make a little softie. it will be a blue and cream mouse. because i made some ear looking things, and had to figure out what to do with them. have to work on that tomorrow. that will be his stocking stuffer.

hubby needs to get eggnog for xmas waffles, and mixed chocolate candies for the big kids stocking. also baking soda because our local sams club doesnt carry it. how fucking stupid is that? i use it for cleaning, i need to buy it in bulk. thats ok though, hes down by the "good" sams club, and they carry the pop tarts i like too.

baby got himself turned sideways in his crib and got his legs stuck. he was not pleased. might have to look into mesh bumpers, or something. may need to put his bed on the floor sooner than i had planned. hes really trying to move now. rolling all over the place, scooching on his back. doesnt much care for sitting though, im sure that will be next. i have laundry to go through as well. we still havent decorated the tree. i was planning on doing that today, but oh no, other people dont plan and 'need' my hubby. pain in the ass fuck heads. oh well. i have about an hour before i really start to feel tired enough for sleep. might try to get a few things done.
