Lol Rolling. That was so funny.
I though my he was going to do something different like hit the angle and draw the ball along the rail and I was about to say "I can actually do that now!!" But no.

I find I get more spin if my cue is level and now I can hit a angle where usually my cue ball would hit a cushion every time but now I can literally hit the object, my cue ball pauses for a split second and then drastically changes direction on a 90* angle. It's really fun. I'm a bit inconsistent but I'm getting so much better.

 

visiting my grandkids tomorrow in the big smoke......so tonight i am baking cookies and of course texting them to the kids......some might even make the whole trip

 

I've had a new stove since Saturday afternoon and I still can't bake anything.

 

i emptied my change jar and all my vehicle ashtrays into a bag and brought it into the mall change counter


didnt think there was much but I came out with $417

 

hubby's face got really red today after trying a different beer. like, i noticed and made him take a benadryl. his whole face and neck got red, except his forehead and eyes. i wonder if it was tainted or something.

 

Strange.

 

If the Benadryl helps it's likely allergy to some ingredient in that beer as opposed to other beers.


If he starts barfing his guts out, it was tainted.

 

the benadryl helped a lot, then he just felt tired. he said its happened before and that he normally assumes that its less than clean taps. this was bottled though. he is allergic to penicillin, so it might be some kind of mold. im not sue how we could id the culprit though.

 

Don't drink that beer again would be a good start.

 

i agree with that. i think even he was surprised at the color and extent of the redness. he had shaved, but not his temples. now hes at his dads to watch his sister overnight. i was looking forward to his night off, but he doesnt know how to tell people (who dont appreciate him) "no" when they ask him for help.

 

gladly..i would add some clothing requirements but essentially the result is the same....

This happened to a friend. We thought he was allergic to something in the beer.

I called in the troops and everyone is pitching in with the dinner. I have always done it all but not this year or we might be eating a very skimpy meal. The kids will be home to help me get the turkey's in the ovens. That is the biggest worry as 50 lbs of turkey is too much for me to lift right now. Then they will go beck to their dads for breakfast and their gifts. In the afternoon when everyone is here they will take them out for me.

I had to go back to the hospital yesterday morning as I kept passing out. They ran more test, actually all repeat blood work and my potassium and magnesium were in the toilet. They kept me until this evening to stabilize it so now I should be good to go. They have no idea why or what med caused it but if it does not happen again it should be fine. They think it could have been the IV antibiotics. I said think.

I did do some reading of posts and everyone is super busy in here. Tis the season for that.

 

ML, sound like an allergy and he may find it is only some brands. It could also be from a certain fertilizer or chemical they use at some breweries. Hope he is feeling better. He should be careful though as often allergic reactions become a lot worse with repeated exposure.

hey cant you just jerry-rig a propane canister to those gas stoves using hockey tape and some burger king straws like we used to in the 60s man?
