Meh, I'm comfortable with myself. Wouldn't mind gaining a few pounds, but my metabolism gave me the big "fuck you" already. I get by.
I should probably drop about 20 pounds myself if I want to get back into running shape. But it would be losing muscle, so I don't know if I want to make the commitment.
jesus...this is probably the most popular thread i have ever made. 86 threads while i was away...damn nice now i'll have to read it all
5'11, 172 pounds. 8% body fat, and 62% water content. I had all this measured Tuesday, that's why I'm being so specific. I wouldn't mind gaining about 15 pounds, as long as it's trim muscle. All the girls in Young Hippies are very attractive. Nobody here has anything to really worry about.
For their height and sex they are normal, most of them that is. Some are little lower. You and I have the same BMI
BMI is a pretty pseudo-scientific means of measuring a persons health. It doesn't account for bone density based on gender or age, assumes a seditary lifestyle, and isn't fit for thos who have more endomorphic or ectomorphic frames. Many professional athletes would be considered obese using BMI. Anyone who gets much exercise the BMI is not very usefull.
Yes I'm aware of that, my dad is considered obese but he's far from it. I'm just posting it for people to compare, for the fun of it.
Based on the height and weight entered, the BMI is 16.8, placing the BMI-for-age at the 3rd percentile for girls aged 16 years, 8 Months. This teen is underweight and should be seen by a healthcare provider for further assessment to determine possible causes of underweight. WTF
