The Great Gatsby

    I studied the Great Gatsby when I was doing English Literature A level. I must admit, it wasn't really my cup of tea. While some of the ideas behind the book are interesting, such as the dangers of The American Dream, I found the book strikingly tedious as a whole.

    Not my cup of tea, unfortunately.

    Yea, that's how I felt about it as well. Kind of dragged on about some pretty boring stuff. Definitley not my bottle of beer.

    Being a huge fan of the 1920s, it is a default that I love this book! :)

    This book is supposed to be a classic, but I was very disappointed. I don't even like the style of the writing.

    i really enjoyed reading it but its not a book id reread.
