The Full Moon is TODAY!!

Never been a fan of the 'moon effects my brain' kinda stuff.

If the moon isn't even gravitationally powerful enough to tide the largest freshwater lakes in the world, then how's it gonna affect my small bodily quantities?

 

We're connected to everything .. air, land, sea .. the Universe and Galaxy

and each other.

One thing for sure is that Humans use the Moon in art, songs, poetry, dance, ritual, prayer .. so there's certainly something about the Moon's power and significance.

I'm looking for something a little more concrete than a feeling or an experience.

 

It's the largest light in the world of dreamers sleepy head

 

You mean you want BS (brain science)? I don't speak science

 

It's a pretty light but it doesn't induce sleep or dreams. It actually wakes me up. The Sun is the much better light to dream and sleep by haha

 

I can handle the moon.But the sun freaks me out.Sometimes I can take the light,but am often happier in a darkened room.

 

Well the sun is also the better light to see the world by so looks like the sun takes the entire spectrum.

 

mmhmm. Since I see waaay more darkness than light, I actually mourn the loss of my precious darkness at daylight's arrival. I spend *most* of my time with the DARK morning .. and I love it.

To the dark adjusted eye the bright is initially uncomfortable and indeed it seems to it to be preferable to retreat. Problem is the sun keeps coming up but it's warmth has a hard time finding you. Sun glasses help to see better in the sun.

 

To be in the sun can be a beautiful experience if you're with people you like,in a nice environment etc,but when it's beating down on you in urban decay, surrounded by people you would perhaps rather not be surrounded by...Only seems to amplify the despair.

 

It is true that if the light in you be dark then it seems pretty dark by day but no matter, the weather may change for all we know.

 

We can always go twilight .. lol

 

Let's leave it to fairlight

 

This is the stuff that nightmares are based on.

Today is my granddaughter's birthday. She would have been 2 years old. She was born with CdLS .. Cornelia de Lange Syndrome. She had heart surgery just after she was born. They said it went well but .. about a week or so later, she died.

She had the *cutest* little lobster claw hands. Still makes me laugh. In one of her pictures, she's smiling. Such a little Angel.

That little baby brought Joy like no other!! I was so full of Joy that I could barely grieve her death. She taught me what GRAND means ..

Doesn't have anything to do with the Moon but .. here I sit, by the window, gazing up at the gorgeous sky full of *natural* clouds .. thinking of my granddaughter and the gift of Joy she brought in the world..

Today is a Happy Day.
