The Exorcism of Emily Rose

I just went and saw it. Excellent movie. I loved it. Scary shit but really good. Makes you think about your faith.

It was really good! I like how they based it on the trial afterwards, to add mystery to it. Also, that way they added different elements and opinions to what really happened to her. It was very interesting and I even learned a few things from it.

Although I have to say my movie going expireience would have been better if there wasn;t so many people talking through it. grrr. I had two drunks to the right of me (whom i had kicked out cuz they were loud and smelled bad) and at least three different groups of teenagers through out the theatre that kept heckling it and crap. arg.

 

I thought it was pretty good. Not nearly as scary as it could have been, and DEFINITELY not nearly as scary as the Exorcist. But I think this one was a bit more realistic (or so it seemed). The scene where the (would-be) boyfriend wakes up in the dorm-bed, sees that she's not in bed with him, then he looks over to see her on the floor in that crazy position was really the only part that freaked me out. Other than that, it was just a plain ole good movie. Not great, but good.
It was basically a film about belief vs. non-belief.

 

I want to see the movie ( kinda), but then again, I'm easily spooked, so maybe I shouldn't. I saw the previews and it looked cool, but freaky. My boyfriend isn't into scarey movies and I certainly don't want to see it alone!

 

its looking good, i saw an interview with the main actress yesterday.. she seemed to have genuninly got a lot of it. i'm going to see it when its out, i love creepie intelligant movies!

 

Man that was a good movie. Loved it!!! Great acting too!

 

That movie was laughable. It was good though. Not as scary as I was hoping it'd be, but whatchever.

 

honestly this one to me was better than the exorcist...and for the record i never actually liked the exorcist...didn't scare me at all

 

This movie looks pretty interesting although... I agree, I don't think it could possibly match up the Exorcist flicks--- I suppose I shouldn't be so quick to assume though.

Flicks like these though, honestly make me laugh.

I saw this and liked it. I agree it wasn't as scary as I thought it would be and a lot of it actually took place in a courtroom. But over all it is much better than a lot of the shit they are spewing onto movie screens nowadays. Good not great.

I saw it with some friends, and we were laughing so hard we almost got kicked out. It probably wasnt really as funny as we made it out to be, but there were so laughs in the whole theatre. When they tied the girls wrists to the bedstand (as in any exorcism movie) the girl I was sitting Next to said "kinky" and (as lame as I am) I couldn't help but laugh at that. It was a good movie and did have some interesting points in it.

 

yeah i wanted to see it n from the good reviews here now i want to see it even more. i hardly ever go to movies tho. just wait til they come out on dvd...
