The Electric Car

Back in '73, after the phony gas crisis, I bought some stock in a company that turned Renault Le Cars into electric cars. Thought it was a good idea---but they went toes up. The point I want to make is that during that time I thought of an idea that I believe WILL actually happen. This-Everyone has seen how many places rent trucks, such as U Haul. My idea back then was to use small trailers with battery packs that were as ubiquitous as the truck rental places, where one could just pull in, hook up a trailer with charged batteries and go. Eliminates the worry concerning distance traveled. The rental places could/should use solar to charge the trailer batteries. I think someone with an ass pocket full of money will or might do this one day.
