nymphomania (now called hypersexuality) can only be diagnosed with the symptom that the person never feels satisfied (physically or emotionaly) by sex. thats why they have sex alot they are desperatey trying to fill that void. but some people are addicted to sex because they like it and their bodies produce way more endorphins than normal when they are having sexxxx so they just like fuckin and this craving the body makes for endorphins is the same as an addiction, so it is an addiction. but they can't be diagnosed as a nyphomaniac, actualy the DMV doesn't catogorize a person who is addicted with sex as having any mental disorder unless it interupts them from living a normal life i.e. they can't hold a job, don't perform basic daily activities etc. or unless there are other symptoms involved such as depression and not feeling satisfied. the need to be satisfied by food, friendship, and sex are very important to the human pyschi and if not met or interrupted it is difficult to be happy. sorry i ruined the flirt-atmosphere with my scholarly side lol and i know many here might think psychology is rubish but it fascinates me
