I think our dreads are actually pretty similar. Mine are just longer.

I have a problem with uploading pictures on here. I have tried and it says I am not registered which I am already. Anyone encounter this problem before?

 

not me but another way to go about it is to upload pics onto photobucket and then use the url and insert them that way... good luck

Jaime, thank you oh so very much for the suggestion of Photo Bucket. I did it and now I really hope these work. These pics date aywhere from 2 months to 2 years ago. My apologies for the close up and the size of the pictures. I added a painting of mine aswell, it's old but it's the only one I have a photo of.

all of those dreads on here are beautiful!!! i don't know if i've posted any pics of mine on here, probably not! i've had mine for almost 2 years and i love them greatly =]

 

Everyone is so friendly on here. I love it. I honestly was having second thoughts and I was about to cut them all off.

Honestly, 3 or so years ago I started by backcombing them and I had them in elastics and that sorta thing and I *cough* used wax and palm rolled for about a year or so. I was using dreadhead products for a while but the shampoo was killing my scalp then I found out about the whole baking soda, applecider vin, tea tree oil/aloe vera stuff and have been using it for a few months. It works well. I haven't used wax for a long time.
They are very frizzy and dry all the time and my roots always look shitty, I can't seem to avoid this dilemma no matter what I do. Maybe it's because I have really thick hair?
