I'm so impressed! I haven't visited this thread in awhile...and it's grown so nicely! My dreads have reached about five months now....they are starting to look really really good, actually. My little sister (who, by the way, thinks I'm absolutely crazy for having them) has been helping me out with them. She just got a digital camera for christmas so I'm going to take some updated photos of them. I ran into a chick that had some rad seven-year-old dreadies that she used Murray's wax on the roots...so I took her advice and used it three times in two months. when I wash my hair it all comes out though...is that kind of wax different? I guess it's mostly meant for African-American type hair, not necessarily for dreads...

I don't know...I love my dreads though. I get a lot of weird looks sometimes (coming from a small town and an even more conservative university), but I don't hardly notice it anymore. *smiles*
