Trump wasn't nasty toward Putin and bin Salman. Trump Once Again Assails America’s Friends as He Opens Overseas Visit By Peter Baker June 27, 2019 excerpt: "By contrast, Mr. Trump said nothing critical before arriving in Osaka about the fourth leader on his diplomatic schedule for Friday, President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia, whose government waged a systematic campaign to interfere in American elections in 2016 and has arrested two Americans on what critics consider false charges. Nor did he say anything negative about his breakfast date for Saturday morning, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, who was just accused by the United Nations of having most likely orchestrated the murder and dismemberment of a Saudi journalist living in the United States. In saving his critiques for America’s friends, Mr. Trump repeated his approach to visiting Britain earlier in the month."
House Passes Senate Border Bill in Striking Defeat for Pelosi By Julie Hirschfeld Davis and Emily Cochrane June 27, 2019 House Passes Senate Border Bill in Striking Defeat for Pelosi excerpt: "WASHINGTON — The House on Thursday passed a Senate humanitarian aid package without any of the House’s strict protections for migrant children in overcrowded border shelters after Speaker Nancy Pelosi capitulated to Republicans and Democratic moderates in a striking defeat. The vote came after a startling display of Democratic disarray and was an unusual setback for Ms. Pelosi, who has been adept at navigating the political complexities of a caucus split by powerful progressive and moderate factions that often work at cross purposes. On Thursday, their priorities clashed in spectacular fashion, and the speaker — who had put her reputation on the line, calling herself a “lioness” out to protect children as she held out for stronger safeguards in migrant facilities that house them — had to accept defeat."
Congress wants his balls nailed to the barn yard door and courts appear eager to prove they actually have some sort of jurisdiction in the continental US. By more or less declaring war on the entire fucking world, Donald Duck can always point the finger at his opponents as hobbling their supreme ruler acting under public mandate and divine mandate. Professional wrestling smack talk will take you further in politics than if you were Albert Fucking Einstein.

The justices announced Friday they will hear oral arguments on the appeal in its next term, which begins in October. A ruling is expected in the presidential election year, putting the high court at the center of one of the most politically charged issues."
Another acting head in the Trump administration and another crass remark. Trump official blames migrant father for drowning with daughter Amanda Holpuch in New York June 28, 2019 Trump official blames migrant father for drowning with daughter excerpts: "Ken Cuccinelli was named earlier this month as acting head of US Immigration and Citizenship Services (USCIS), the agency that handles immigration administration. He told CNN he was not concerned the photo would become emblematic of the Trump administration’s hardline immigration policy. “The reason we have tragedies like that on the border is because that father didn’t wait to go through the asylum process in the legal fashion and decided to cross the river and not only died but his daughter died tragically as well,” Cuccinelli said on Thursday night." "As part of a broader crackdown on migration, the Trump administration has further restricted asylum and the backlog of legal cases. Migrants are routinely forced to wait for months south of the US border in order to start the asylum process, which has in turn driven people to make more dangerous border crossings such as trying to wade or swim across the treacherous Rio Grande." "In the past decade, Cuccinelli has said homosexual acts are “intrinsically wrong,” been tied to anti-Muslim and anti-LGBTQ campaigners and was criticized for a comment that seemed to compare immigrants to rats."

Former President Jimmy Carter declares Trump is an illegitimate president. Carter is viewed as one of the most sincere, honest, and well-meaning Presidents in history and is known for his many awards, humanitarian service, and common decency.

Judge blocks Trump from using billions in military funds for border wall By Jacqueline Thomsen 06/28/19 10:08 PM EDT Judge blocks Trump from using billions in military funds for border wall excerpt: "A federal judge on Friday issued a ruling blocking the Trump administration from tapping billions of dollars in military funds to construct a wall on the United States's southern border. U.S. District Judge Haywood Gilliam issued the permanent injunction in a California federal court, after initially ruling last month to temporarily halt the administration’s use of military funds for the border wall. President Trump declared a national emergency earlier this year in order to divert roughly $6 billion in Defense Department funds toward border wall construction. Friday's ruling blocks the administration from using $2.5 billion in military funds for a border wall."
‘If You Want, I’ll Go On’: Trump’s Rambling News Conference The president defended Vladimir Putin and Mohammed bin Salman while airing his grievances with Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, and the Democratic Party. Peter Nicholas June 29, 2019 9:10 AM ET ‘If You Want, I’ll Go On’: Trump’s Rambling News Conference excerpt: "“I asked him what was happening,” Trump said of his meeting with Salman. And another crass remark by Trump. President Donald Trump Claims Border Wall Would Have Saved Father and Daughter Who Drowned in Rio Grande By Gillian Edevane 6/29/19 at 9:33 AM EDT Trump claims his border wall would have prevented deaths of father and daughter who drowned in Rio Grande excerpt: "If we had walls up, and we had it hard, the father and the beautiful daughter who drowned — you know the Rio Grande is very tough, it has moments where it can be very calm and then all of a sudden it becomes totally violent and then people get swept away— but if they thought it was hard to get in, they wouldn't be coming up. So many lives would be saved," Trump said in the recorded press conference.
Think how many more lives would be saved by the courts actually punishing all of the republicans hiring illegal aliens.
Quote of a blogger: "Trump is the ultimate city-slicker huckster. How do these salt-of-the-earth farmers get suckered into believing such a huckster? You’d think farmers would have some skepticism left the more things sour on them. But apparently not. I guess the MAGA flag-waving is more important to them than their livelihoods? OTOH, American farmers aren’t alone with this phenomenon. I’m thinking of Turkish President Recip Erdogan. The dynamic is similar: the rural areas of Turkey are his biggest supporters, even as a tanking economy is hurting them the most. Same goes for Putin in Russia. The urban areas are always the most skeptical and fickle as voters (Erdogan’s party lost a recent Istanbul city vote. He’s now in the process of nullifying that election and calling for a new one), while the rural hinterlands buy the party line hook, lead, and sinker."
All around the world, Christian and Islamic fundamentalists represent the more rural populations, the closer you get to the equator, because nothing grows at the north or south poles. Their simple strategy is to assume all these city slickers will inevitably steal everything they own, so its best to make a bargain with whichever devil cuts you the lowest taxes or otherwise makes you money. They are quite correct in their assumption that the city slickers will kill them all the destroy their way of life eventually. In the US, the small towns and family farms are now history, while worldwide the number of indigenous tribes has shrunk to a tiny fraction, and indigenous languages are vanishing. The money is taking on a life of its own, while the single largest manufactured export of the US is weapons. Hence, fundamentalists are also famous for using their guns to put up enough of a fight to bargain with any devils they can't afford to pay off. In Ireland, the IRA showed why terrorism is still widespread, because it can be the only way the poor can bargain with the wealthy on anything remotely like a level playing field. The white population in the US and EU is crashing, because the money is literally encouraging people to work themselves to death, have fewer kids, and indulge themselves to their little hearts desire. Islam is less compatible with materialistic cultures, and is more applicable to the third world and tribal cultures, but is no less extreme and self-defeating appearing. There are an estimated 350 million slaves worldwide, and these rural fundamentalists are infamous for attacking anything remotely foreign. Islam tolerates foreigners, as does Christianity, but both stress making money and fighting the good fight, over tolerating anybody else. In other words, they create or become their own city slickers, while the US basically owns the world now, and is infamous for its religious fundamentalists. Say what you want about them as people, money and guns actually do talk louder than words. The US has the worst social record in the world, but is still the most powerful and wealthy. The issue is networking systems logic, because what works works, and all the rest is the complaints of losers.
