To borrow a phrase from Musk, "Fork In The Road!"

He used it as an email subject line when he fired Twitter employees after he purchased it and while he was firing federal workers.

Now he's faced with a choice of whether to continue garnering joy for his firing of federal workers at the expense of injuring his businesses or if he should just give up the Trump antics and return to tending his businesses.

Musk is currently playing the in-between game of blaming Navarro for the tariff wars when in reality Trump wants those wars more than anyone.

It's comical that Hegseth is accusing others of leaking information when he is using social media to conduct military operations and accidentally invited a journalist to the chat that gave updates on an upcoming bombing by the military.

Hegseth has also fired at least four aides for allegedly leaking information.

Chances are reasonable that he won't be heading the Pentagon for a long time.

Trump's third term trial balloon gets resounding response in new poll

    excerpt:

"Three-quarters of respondents in a Reuters/Ipsos national survey conducted April 16-21 and released on Monday said Trump should not run for a third term.

And while the Republican president's grip over the GOP is stronger than ever, even a majority of Republicans questioned in the poll, 53%, said Trump shouldn't seek a third term."

It's another indication of the extent of the decay of democracy in the U.S. that Americans are even having a debate about whether Trump should run for a third term when it isn't permitted by the Constitution.

It similar to the debate about whether Trump should deport U.S. citizens to third world prisons.

It's disturbing that Amerians are even engaging in this type of discourse.

Musk apparently made his decision today when faced with the fork in the road (Tesla profits down 71% after his firings of government workers).

Tesla profits drop 71% amid anti-Musk backlash

    excerpt:

He then called the DOGE work necessary but said that "working for the government to get the financial house in order is mostly done."

"I think starting probably next month in May, my time allocation to those will drop significantly," he said.

He added that he expected to keep working for the government one or two days a week for the remainder of Trump's presidency to "make sure that the waste and fraud that we stopped does not come roaring back." But he added that he would start shifting more time and attention back to Tesla.

Tom Cotton begs for Trump disaster relief after opposing it for Democrats.

'Reconsider': Tom Cotton begs Trump for disaster relief — after opposing it for Dem states

    excerpt:

"Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) pleaded with President Donald Trump to "reconsider" his denial of disaster relief after tornadoes hit Arkansas.

Cotton, who has opposed similar aid for blue states, joined the Arkansas delegation in writing a letter directly to Trump to support Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders' request for funds."

Disaster relief from Trump is needed in addition to disaster relief from tornadoes.

Khalil's wife gives birth while he's in prison in Lousiana.

    Trump administration denies furlough.

Khalil is a permanent resident of the U.S.

Trump put him in jail because of his activism on campus that was critical of Israel.

Mahmoud Khalil's wife gives birth while he remains in ICE custody in Louisiana

    excerpt:

"Despite our request for ICE to allow Mahmoud to attend the birth, they denied his temporary release to meet our son. This was a purposeful decision by ICE to make me, Mahmoud, and our son suffer," her statement continued.

A young person interviewed during the 2024 campaign said he was voting for Trump because he's a guy you can sit down and talk with about anything (including your job loss, increase in prices, ending of university funds you needed for your degree, injuring your investments and retirement account with his Jekyll-Hyde mental condition, etc.)

Now Newsmax can applaud Trump for wrecking the world economy because he's doing it his own way and with style.

Trump accuses Zelensky of making inflammatory statements.

Trump accuses Ukraine’s Zelenskyy of harming Russia negotiations

    excerpt:

In a post on the Truth Social platform on Wednesday, Trump accused Zelenskyy of stoking tension by “boasting” that Kyiv would not legally recognise ceding Crimea to Russia.

“This statement is very harmful to the Peace Negotiations with Russia,” Trump said, adding that Russia invaded the Crimean Peninsula and annexed it back in 2014 “without a shot being fired”.

Various businesses in the U.S. are delaying imports because of Trump's tariff wars. They are anticipating Trump to cower away from his threats and reduce his tariffs.

In the short term, it creates lack of supply and higher prices for consumers.
