The Supreme Court could be poised to hobble the Trump resistance

    excerpt:

"That’s because the justices might declare that trial judges can enter injunctions that apply only in the geographic districts where they are appointed. Or the justices might restrict trial judges from issuing remedies that go beyond the specific litigants in a particular case. That would mean, for instance, that a group of blue states challenging Trump’s birthright citizenship order might be able to win an injunction blocking the policy in their states — but the policy would remain in place in all other states."

Without nationwide injunctions, the Trump administration could still win by playing a geographic shell game.

Trump has already used this tactic by quickly transporting people to detentions facilities in Texas and Louisiana and arguing to the courts that the plaintiffs who tried to stop him filed in the wrong courts, the locations where they were abducted by ICE.

Moreover, he has quickly deported people from places like Texas to an El Salvador prison before courts could respond.

Major corporate interests and megadonors gave $239 million to fund Trump's inauguration

    excerpt:

"Pilgrim’s Pride Corp., a major poultry producer, donated more than any other individual or company, sending $5 million to Trump's inaugural committee. Just behind was Ripple Labs, the cryptocurrency and blockchain company, which gave almost $4.9 million.

A handful of energy companies gave at least $500,000 each — including Chevron, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil, Shell and Occidental Petroleum Corp., as well as the political arm of the American Petroleum Institute."

If Trump was asked for his evidence that the J6 evidence was destroyed, he would say that that evidence was also destroyed.

Fox ran a headline praising Trump for trying to put liberals in their place with the remarks he made on Easter Sunday just after talking about Jesus.

    excerpt:

"The most pessimistic fear is that the sell-offs mean that investors around the world are losing trust in the U.S. as a result of Trump's unpredictable policies — and they are therefore cutting their investments across the board.

If true, it would represent a seismic change in the global financial system, in which the U.S. is no longer considered as a haven."

It's a potential leverage tactic that could be used against Trump by other countries by forming an alliance and reducing the amount of U.S. bonds purchased that finance the U.S. debt.

It will tend to happen on its own even without an alliance due to declining confidence in the U.S. because of Trump's antics.

After he became president, Trump combined the two. He threatened Russia with tariffs if it didn't stop the war in Ukraine that it started, the one Trump said he would end in 24 hours after he was elected and not even president yet.

Trump alone will fix the Titanic after deliberately driving it into an iceberg.

It's part of his master plan to keep everyone safe by threatening those pesky, unfair icebergs with collisions so that they will move out of the way for him.

Trump uses real eggs for Easter egg roll whose prices for Americans he says are too low..

What egg shortage? White House Easter Egg Roll to proceed with thousands of real eggs amid soaring prices.

    excerpt:

"The 147th White House Easter Egg Roll hosted by President Trump and first lady Melania Trump will be held on Monday with thousands of real eggs, despite skyrocketing prices for consumers.

About 30,000 real eggs, or 2,500 cartons of 12, donated from America’s egg farmers will be used for decorating and games on the South Lawn, according to the American Egg Board, which helps facilitate the annual event. That number is on par with the amount of eggs used in years past, even though a nationwide bird flu outbreak has caused egg shortages, resulting in soaring prices."

Have the Easter Bunny drive in to the egg roll festival on Trump's golf cart.

The bunny can tear off his costume to reveal Elon Musk underneath dressed in black and wielding a giant chainsaw, scaring all the women and children at the event.

GOP flocking to El Salvador prison to do photo-ops.

These are the lawmakers who have visited CECOT, El Salvador's mega-prison

    excerpt:

    "Republican politicians at CECOT

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem visited the prison in March.

"If you come to our country illegally, this is one of the consequences you could face," Noem said in a video standing in front of a packed cell of prisoners.

Rep. Jason Smith (R-Mo.) on Tuesday shared photos of himself at the prison.

In a statement, he praised President Trump for the deportations and detentions.

Rep. Riley Moore (R-W. Va.) similarly shared photos on Tuesday, including one of him standing in front of a cell posing with thumbs up.

"I leave now even more determined to support President Trump's efforts to secure our homeland" he wrote on X.

Five other GOP members visited El Salvador, per a photo shared by the U.S. Embassy in El Salvador. However, it doesn't say whether they visited the prison.

Those lawmakers are Reps. Claudia Tenney (NY), Mike Kennedy (Utah), Carol Miller (W. Va.), Ron of Estes (Kansas) and Kevin Hern (Okla.), per journalist Marisa Kabas.

Tenney said in a Thursday post on X that she visited the prison. She also praised Trump's deportations.

A spokesperson for Miller did not respond to direct questions about the trip. The other representatives' offices did not immediately respond to Axios' request for comment.

The embassy's post, written in Spanish, said the delegation was "visiting the country to strengthen bilateral ties and discuss initiatives that promote economic development and mutual cooperation."
