Trump stood the chance of going to prison for theft of secret government documents.

Now he has flown the property back to Mar-a-Lago using Air Force One.

It's not known if the government documents went back to Mar-a-Lago or only Trump's personal property such as his golf pants that he said were mixed in with the documents.

One of his excuses over the years for repeatedly not returning the documents when requested by the National Archives and eventually the DOJ was that he didn't want government agents going through his golf pants that were mixed in with the documents.

Imagine ordinary people using that type of excuse and what would happen to them.

Bessent is urging Canada and Mexico to impose import tariffs on China in order to avoid the U.S. imposing 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico which is scheduled to occur on March 2 (although Trump could change his mind again like he as before).

Canada buys much more services from U.S. than the U.S. does from Canada.

According to Trump's reasoning, that means the U.S. is taking advantage of Canada and it must be stopped by Canada imposing import tariffs on U.S. services.

"Bessent said on "Face the Nation" that the perception of inflation by U.S. consumers is rooted in government overregulation during the Biden administration, and that consumers will feel the benefits of the current administration's deregulation efforts moving forward."

 

Bessent is parroting Trump who has said recently that he thinks deregulation will counter the higher cost effects of all the import tariffs he is imposing.

Trump said the price of houses will go down after he deregulates the U.S. lumber industry even after his planned 25% import tariffs on Canada, including lumber.

Let's all remember that Trump now has immunity for all official acts as president. So everyone of those executive orders he signs, no matter the impact on Americans is legal.

Let that sink in when he destroys our democracy. You can blame McConnell for not impeaching and finding him guilty of insurrection. Then blame the Supreme court for granting Trump total immunity.

 

Just imagine if here in the USA, a man got elected to the highest office in the land while actually being a lying, crooked business man, a man who cheated people that did work for him, a man that potentially could be called a sexual predator, a man who respects no one and begins to tear down the world order just because he can. Now just imagine that if the man actually was trusted ( for some reason) enough to get elected, he brought in to the government a bunch of billionaires to help him run the government and actually starting firing thousands of people from all government agencies. Ridiculous, eh?? American voters have way more sense than to do something as stupid and block headed as that. But it's interesting to think about. Maybe someone will make a crazy movie about something like all that. Nah---who'd believe that crazy shit? Right?
