All I can say is....this shit is surreal....

 

Round and round we go (I'm more than familiar with this tactic). I admit how entertaining it is to see how every syllable that man says is taken absolutely literally. No wiggle room, he said it, so it must be. Since when has that been normal in politics?

 

I think it's comical that if you're not a declared leftist, you are automatically assigned as a republican. And the assignee never sees how fanatical it makes them look. I freakin LOVE bubble politics.

What sucks though is how this utter lack of critical thinking will indeed bring us another term for Trump and even more people like him in the midterms. Hate is not a strategy, it just isn't.

 

Don't forget they don't like scientific facts about global warming. Pollution in the ocean is just a song by some whale lover. Now they feel like mining the Grand Stair Case for copper and mining the Grand Canyon for Uranium.

Well, your guy did say he will not touch Social Security and Medicare but will do so on Friday of this week.

 

Yes it is so for Trump. His people at Cambridge Analytica decided to make it a strategy. They wanted to capitalize on the hate of immigrants so they could energize the hate base. They made up fake stories about Muslims and used fake videos to enrage the haters in their base. Steve Bannon and Robert Mercer wanted this. They used the psychological profiles of Facebook users to sell their hate of immigrants. When protesters attended Trump speeches, he encouraged men in the crowd to beat them up and offered to pay for it. I'd say the country got took by that hate strategy.

 

At what point do Republicans realize how dangerous this is from a historical prospective? You are literally endorsing fascist dictatorship tactics because you hate Demarcates so much. Yet that party is the one undermining freedom. As a member of neither party you are the wrong side of history.

 

And there you go again with the "immigrants" nonsense. Few people have problems with honest, LEGAL immigration.

The people sneaking in are not "immigrants", they're criminals. It really is that simple.

 

The only "guy" I have does plumbing and drywall work for me.

They could plead guilty in the hope of speeding up their reunification with their children, but risk damaging their chances of receiving asylum in the United States. People seeking asylum legally are being coerced into pleading guilty with the hopes that they can be reunited with their children sooner. Trump and Sessions are using a very slimy tactic.

 

And therefore deserving of having their children taken from them?

 

As opposed to sending the children to jail with the parents? Make sense already will you.

Ordinarily immigrants, "legal" or otherwise, and refugees aren't treated like criminals and sent to "jail" without their children. No President has done this in the past. No law requires it. It's a matter of prosecutorial discretion, and Sessions, under Trump's direction, has opted to treat them all as hardened criminals--showing the same assholish rigidity as he's shown toward drug offenders. Three detention facilities have been set up in South Texas to house infants and toddlers separated from their mothers. The refugees could be put in detention facilities with their kids. The Obama Administration handled a major surge in migrants by detaining families together in administrative facilities..The Federal Sentencing Act includes a presumption of Release on Own Recognizance (ROR). Most white collar accused criminals are walking around loose with ankle bracelets awaiting trial. The Flores Settlement of 1997 sets limits on how long children can be detained and requires the government to release them to parents, guardians, or licensed facilities as quickly as possible and to house them in the “least restrictive” conditions possible if that cannot be done immediately.The idea of mass imprisonment of immigrants, "legal" or not, without their children is immoral. The analogy between these misdemeanor cases and the treatment of felons is faulty, and nobody is a "criminal" until found guilty after a trial. People with a conscience can see this. No law mandates the separation of parents and children. Common decency weighs against it. Monsters!

 

I admit I was probably WAY too generous by accusing only the fringe left of this type of shenanigans.

Please don't tell me that Character Assassination is your ace in the hole on this one. I have in fact spoke out saying that a strong nuclear family structure is superior to the state. I've heard some of lefties of many varieties in my time saying they wanna do away with the nuclear family. But that's none of my business though..

Seems to me, that if criminal parents are using their children for collateral to commit their crimes, then they are really shitty parents.

Lets say man and woman with a child stops at the southern border and tells the guard, "This is my child."
They have no paperwork proving this.
Do you let them pass?
How do you differentiate between child sex traffickers and parents?

Unlike the fringe right, I think its wrong to put people in jail and ruin families over victimless crimes. Like I already said.

 

Liberals will often demonize this kind of stereotyping, but it's interesting how often they like to put people in groups and assign labels for their own intent and purpose of stereotyping.

- They call black people who don't vote democrat "uncle tom"
- "Why do Log Cabin Republicans exist? You shouldn't be allowed to be gay and think like that."
- "But you're a woman, how come you're not a feminist?"
- "You can't be a libertarian AND a vegetarian" LOL
- "Hip people aren't supposed to be conservative"


Safe spaces and PC Language Policing ain't very hip either. Just saying.
