Oh, sorry. You do seem to be a Republican, though, and I think not a liberal.

Republicans seemed to have rolled over. It's Trump's party now. As for history, you seem to be living in the past. Times and the parties have changed. To try to depict today's Republicans as the "party of Lincoln is Twilight Zone fantasy.

Mexico gives all immigrants access to education, employment, judicial rights, and health services. The unity of the family is stressed. Children, women, seniors, the handicapped, and crime victims have specific needs provided.

The largest group of immigrants to Mexico comes from the United States, 738,103.
    Argentina, 40,000 to 150,000.
    Columbia, 73,000.
    Central America, 66,868.
    Cuba, 63,000.
    Russia, 25,000.
    Germany, 20,000.
    Italy, 20,000.
    Spain, 18,873.
    France, 7,163.
    China, 6,655.
    S. Korea, 5,518.
    Japan, 4,485.
    Britain., 3,761.
    Philippines, 823.
    N. Korea, 481.
    Ireland, 289 .
400,000 people speak Arabic due to past migrations, but few have arrived as of 1970.

    * some figures are older than others.

Again, in 2014 the children arrived at the border unattended by adults.
No one could take them from their parents as their parents weren't with them

And yet those that come here, to attempt illegal entry here, pass through this glorious land of social support to all immigrants, to get here to the U.S.?

What's the point of legal immigration if someone can just join a caravan and enter the U.S. easily?

Yup, brown skin people don't get to stay in the VIP section like Manafort. And don't forget: TRUMP PARDONED RUBASHKIN who hired 400 illegal aliens to work at his Iowa meat plant where he also did plenty of money laundering. Someone needs to look at the source of that money. It might be from Russia.

Wait just a minute. The Democrats in Colorado passed legalization of Marijuana. The Republicans opposed it...including Bush. Obama issued an executive order to law enforcement so no one is charged for personal possession or use. Where do you get your info?

No George. We were talking about Americans going to another country without getting arrested? After that we moved to the last topic where you said the money should be spent on the poor in the USA. And you did ask why it "falls to the USA" to protect them?

Trump set to withdraw from the United Nations Human Rights Council today.
The council met Monday and called Trump's family separation policy for immigrates, “unconscionable.”
The withdraw has been coming as Niki Haley, John Bolton , and Mike Pompeo all don't like it.

Yes, why is it America's responsibility to take care of people who jump across our border? America needs to be taking better care of our own poor before we start taking in the poor of other nations. We're not supposed to have an open border, how many other countries do? And of those that claim to have open borders, what's the condition of their economy and their own poor citizens?

Executive orders are a ruse. They don't mean shit once a new administration takes over. Obama relied on those way too much. He didn't do anything lasting about the war on drugs. He had it in his hands and did nothing.

And yet, they still feel a need to jump the US border. Odd when you consider the "paradise" that is Mexico.

A cause is just a cause, nobody owns it. I'm not defending right wingers, but I do think the nation deserves a substantial defense. Regardless of party affiliations. It blows my mind that so many hippies are going hard left these days. That's just plain weird. I wonder how many are closet antifa loons as well.

Exactly, the republicans lost their charter years ago. I'd never compare them to Lincoln. And I don't compare Trump to them, he's way out of their crony politicking league. Which is why he so handily defeated so many of them to take the top seat. I was happy to see anybody slap the GOP with a wet glove after watching them capitulate for so many years. FUCK the Grand Old Party, send them packing.

You're right also that it's Trump's party now, but the old line republicans aren't falling into line behind him. They're still plotting and placating. They HATE him because he showed the world what fools the republicans have become. I knew this when they sent McCain to face Obama. They doubled down by sending Romney, a walking joke of a politician.

Folks, if your cause celeb re is that democrats can do no wrong and republicans can do no right, you're way too fanatical to enjoy a political discussion with me. Surely you can see that by now. BOTH parties are fucked, so trying to salvage your favorite flavor as being less fucked than the other is just plain silly.
