What is putting tariffs on Canada going to do, his logic is twisted. Fentanyl is not coming in from Canada, it’s been proven. We import 30 % of our lumber from Canada and 1.6 million barrels of oil per day.
So putting tariffs on them is stupid, because in the end the consumer pays that in increased cost.
For someone who says he’s going to help bring down costs to Americans he’s going about it the wrong way.
He obviously didn’t learn anything from his last term when he put tariffs on China that didn’t do squat to lower prices, it actually made them worse.

 

I’m not listening to anyone, I’ve researched this on my own.
But we will see, in six months when nothing has changed or things get worse everyone will be scratching there heads wondering how this happened. The answer is simple, you put him in office.
I’m not a democrat, they didn’t make things better either.
I don’t think Trump is the answer and I am disappointed that the Republicans backed him when I felt there were better options.

Trump's protectionist mental condition is intensifying.

It becomes a question of how long it can continue without imploding.

The conditions he's creating around the world could cause a global recession or military conflict that could cause Congress or some other entity to finally take action to try to stop him..

Trump and his supporters will once again dismiss such concerns as 'Trump Derangement Syndrome'.

 

When rational people expressed concern about possible violence in the wake of Trump's 2020 election loss, his followers made the same Trump Derangement Syndrome remark before Trump's riot at the Capitol. Even after the violence, they still dismiss the concerns as TDS by trying to whitewash the violence and pretend it never happened.

The violence of Trump and his followers at the Capitol serves as a reminder of the chaos and destructiveness of Trump that can expand and intensify around the world and potentially cause conflicts of much higher magnitude.

 

Like he did during his first term, Trump is invoking an emergency to impose tariffs without Congressional approval.
