Acosta says don't give in to the lies.

He has worked at CNN for 18 years.

Jim Acosta Announces Sudden Exit from CNN with Cryptic Final Message: 'Don't Give In to the Lies'

    excerpts:

"According to the outlet, Acosta was opposed to the idea of the move, and wondered whether the network’s reorganization of its lineup was part of a move to sideline journalists that had been critical of President Donald Trump in the past."

"As the son of a Cuban refugee, I took home this lesson: It is never a good time to bow down to a tyrant," he said.

Trump administration orders federal funding freeze on all public loans, grants and more aid

    excerpt:

"Several members of Congress said they were being slammed with questions from their constituents and organizations that could be affected.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Tuesday that she would provide a list of the organizations affected.

Head Start, which provides pre-school funding for low-income children, said the memo has the "potential to severely disrupt the ability for Head Start programs to serve nearly 800,000 children and their families nationwide."

Meals on Wheels said Tuesday that they are trying to figure out how it affects them. "If in fact this order includes the Older Americans Act, this would presumably halt service to millions of vulnerable seniors who have no other means of purchasing or preparing meals," the organization said in a statement."

Expect grocery prices to increase, all else being the same.

Trump has a vengeance to deport all undocumented people in the U.S., which includes those working at places like farms and meat packing plants which are currently having difficulty filling jobs. Trump's followers perceive them as the high paying jobs that have been stolen from them. While at a predominantly black church in Detroit during his 2024 campaign, Trump told the people of Detroit that the migrants stole all the great jobs they could have had.

He's threatening tariffs on other countries that refuse to accept the people he deports and on Mexico and Canada in general, which are market-disrupting and inflation-promoting.

Trump to offer buyouts to federal workers to convince them to resign.

Trump administration offers roughly 2 million federal workers a buyout to resign

    excerpt:

"President Donald Trump's administration is offering federal workers the chance to take a "deferred resignation," which would mean they agree now to resign but get paid through September.

A senior administration official told NBC News that they expect 5%-10% of the federal workforce to quit, which, they estimate, could lead to around $100 billion in savings."

Trump instructs Hegseth to open a path for military money to be used for faith-based education.

Trump expected to sign executive order prioritizing federal funding for school choice programs

    excerpt:

"The executive order directs the secretary of defense, Pete Hegseth, to submit a plan to Mr. Trump for how military families can use Defense Department funds to send their kids to the school of their choosing.

More broadly, it directs the Department of Education to prioritize school choice programs through its discretionary grant programs, and orders the Department of Health and Human Services to issue guidance on how states receiving block grants for families and children can use those funds to support private and faith-based institutions."

Effects of Trump's funding freezes on general public.

What does Trump's federal funding freeze mean for people who get aid?

    excerpt:

"A White House memo ordering a broad freeze on federal grants and loans by 5 p.m. Tuesday has ordinary Americans who depend on such aid, as well as seasoned budget experts, scratching their heads.

The memo suspending the federal funding was vague in its wording, causing confusion within federal assistance programs, at nonprofits and among Americans receiving government aid. Adding to the whiplash, a federal judge on Tuesday temporarily blocked the freeze as she considers arguments from the U.S. government and the plaintiffs in the case."

What does Trump's federal funding freeze mean for people who get aid?

    excerpt:

"If it's resolved quickly, the aggregate economic effects for the first quarter will be modest, but it will matter a whole lot to people on the other side of these expected payments," Edelberg said. "It could be the difference between having a job and not, getting evicted or affording food — and the economic numbers won't fully reflect how individuals are going to feel this."

Trump has forgotten his forgotten people again in favor of ultra-billionaire Musk's proposed budget cuts and his personal psychological issue with DEI.

What does Trump's federal funding freeze mean for people who get aid?

    excerpt:

"Even a short pause in funding could cause significant harm to low-income families and their communities," NLIHC Interim President and CEO Renee Willis said in a statement. "The longer the freeze continues, the greater the risk that low-income households receiving federal rental assistance could face eviction, and in the worst cases, homelessness — homeless shelters may be forced to close their doors, and nonprofit organizations may have to lay off staff."

A cartoon is needed showing Trump's forgotten people now homeless on the street and saying that it was a worthwhile outcome for Trump trying to vanquish DEI. For some, it means that much to them. Some of Trump's supporters went to their deaths defending him at his riot that was based on his lies.

Judge Blocks Trump's Funding Freeze and Federal Workers Are Offered Payouts: Live Updates

    excerpt:

"The Pentagon is allowing the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement to use Buckley Space Force Base in Aurora, Colo., to detain undocumented migrants arrested by federal deportation officers, the United States Northern Command said on Tuesday. The decision plunges the military deeper into President Trump’s order to secure the southwestern border."

Trump expected to move space command to Alabama, the state of Sen. Tommy Tuberville.

Trump placed former football coach Tuberville into the Senate by endorsing him.

Tuberville was one of the senators Trump was trying to reach during his riot at the Capitol to see how much more could be done to stop the certification of Biden's win.

Tuberville obstructed promotions of military personnel for many months because he was upset that healthcare money in the military could be used to pay for transportation for service members to use possibly for abortion. Congress had to override him eventually with a special one-day legislation that changed the rules.

Musk's fingerprints are on Trump's offer to two million federal workers to resign.

    https://www.nytimes.com/live/2025/0...ecutive-orders#ice-deportations-colorado-base

    excerpt:

"Although Elon Musk is leading the new Department of Government Efficiency and has no official role in the Office of Personnel Management, an email today that offered federal workers the option to resign had a striking resemblance to an email he sent Twitter employees after buying the platform in late 2022. The two emails even shared the same subject line: “Fork in the road.”"

Musk purchased Twitter, went on a quest to remove workers he didn't want, removed oversight and enforcement of rules for posting messages, and now appears to be frustrated at how ugly the atmosphere on X has become and is telling members to try to be more optimistic and respectable.

Much more of this can be expected from Trump over the next four years.

He will be trying to use military assets to promote Christian education, hold detained migrants, capture migrants, and promote particular politicians by moving military facilities to their states.

During Trump's riot Trump and Giuliani dialed the wrong number again and reached Sen. Mike Lee who was huddled with other members of Congress who were trying to protect themselves from Trump's rioters (the ones he pardoned this week). The call ended early because the senator needed his phone back from Tuberville because members of Congress were being transported to a safer location.

Guiliani also dialed another wrong number to an unnamed senator that was intended for Tuberville about obstructing the certification of Biden's win. The unnamed senator forwarded the recorded voicemail to the media which exposed the intents of Trump and Giuliani during the riot.

Giuliani called a newly sworn-in GOP senator for help with slowing Biden's election certification but accidentally left a rambling voicemail on the wrong politician's phone

    excerpt:

"Rudy Giuliani has committed another gaffe reminiscent of past butt dials, hair-dye mishaps, and Four Seasons Total Landscaping press conferences."

Butt dials, hair-dye mishaps, and the ridiculous Four Season Total Landscaping press conference.

Trump selects the most jackass people imaginable.
