He loves the uneducated--all 60 million of them! This "administration"could not get away with all this behavior if in fact the neglected areas of the US had been paid more attention. Even dumb-asses would have responded differently if factories/jobs had been kept in the states and put where they could help the citizens. Who moved them? The 1or 2 %. Not workers. It's extremely difficult to FORCE MYSELF to believe that anyone would find ANYTHING to admire about the Blumpkin, but the dems fell short on this too. Our government is now showing that it can be manipulated by a slick talking con man, and that our education system has failed miserably. Hopefully this fustercluck will encourage some positive change. And not towards the right.
Trump held a "press conference" this morning. Total number of lies....at least 20. 1. Manafort had nothing to do with his campaign. (He was campaign chairman) 2. DOJ report exonerates him. (No) 3. Flynn didn't lie. (He fired Flyn because he lied) 4. The Democrats are taking children from their parents. (It's Trump's policy) 5. Obama lost Crimea. ( Russia took it, and got kicked out of the G8) 6. Before Trump's election people thought we were going to war with North Korea. (No that was after you got elected) 7. A new Rasmussen poll shows him at 55% approval and going up. (While true, Rasmussen is a right wing poll site, all other polls have him at 40% or lower) 8. The stock market has hit record numbers. (All records under Obama were attributed to bubbles and as being artificial by him) 9.Companies are moving back to the U.S., Ford General Motors, due to him. (Ford made the decision to abandon a Mexican factory deal before Trump was elected) 10. He inherited a "mess" at home and abroad. (No, Obama brought the economy back from the brink, and killed Bin Ladin) 11. He got 306 electoral votes because of a huge voter turnout and was the biggest electoral win since Reagan. (He got 304 electoral votes and lost the popular vote by 2.9 million. 8 million voted for other candidates, turnout was lower than 2008 and 2004, and his win ranks seventh since 1984) 12. Sanctuary cities cause crime. (There is no data to support this) 13. Circuit courts are in turmoil. (There is no data to support this) 14. New pipelines will create thousands and thousands of jobs. (He said 28,000 at one time, but half the pipelines are already done) 15. The media has a lower approval rate than congress. (Wrong) 16. Wikileaks never release classified documents. (They released hundreds of thousands of classified documents. 17. Nobody mentions that Hillary received the questions to the debates. (She was emailed a notice about one question. It's unknown if she read it, and it was discussed endlessly in the press) 18. Hillary Clinton gave away 20% of the U.S. uranium stockpile. (This has been debunked many times) 19. He had a smooth roll out of the travel ban. (Yeah, right) 20. He has nothing to do with Russia, hasn't called them in years, doesn't talk to Russians. (He met with Sergey Ivanovich Kislyak and three other Russians in April 2017, sought Russian deals in 1987, 1996, and 2005. In 2008 Donald Trump Jr. told us all about their Russian ties) And there are a few more.
It's piling up and the Trump-suckers are suddenly quieting down. Do you think---could it be---they finally---nawww forget it. Once a Blumpkin, always a Blumpkin.
There are 1,400 boys in a licensed center housed in an empty Walmart Super Center in Brownsville, TX. It looks bright and clean with plenty for the boys to do. Their health is cared for, they are fed, and schooled. I think it's better than turning them out on the streets.
No, that's an extreme option. The government of the United States should hold the families together and process their request for refuge in a humane and civil way. I don't want the kids dumped on the streets and I don't want their grandparents on the street either. If they don't qualify to be in the USA then they should be sent back.
A recent ACLU report begs to differ ACLU Report: Detained Immigrant Children Subjected To Widespread Abuse By Officials But aside from that, even if they are well cared for, I dont agree with the practice of seperating children and their parents. In the past mothers were sent to detention centers with their children and then seen by a judge in immigration court. At that point they would either be deported or allowed to move forward with an asylum claim. Children were never released to fend for themselves on the street, they remained with their parents through the process The US is creating an enormous humanitarian crisis by seperating families this way. Ethical and moral considerations aside, the US doesnt have the resources to take this to task. Our foster care system is already overwhelmed as it is. The fact that the US is about to stick children and babies in a tent city should be enough to show this is a really bad idea
Oh cool, you're comparing the family of someone with a net worth of 70 million to some of the world's poorest and most vulnerable people Paul Manafort's children are not in danger of going to a detention center or a tent city .
The law has changed to Zero Tolerance for Illegal Immigrants. If they tell me that crossing the state line anywhere except a checkpoint point will result in me being put in jail and my children put in a care center, then I'm going to cross at a checkpoint or not go.
The law hasnt changed at all. And legal asylum seekers are also being seperated in some cases And just because something is law doesnt mean it is ethical, that just isnt a good argument to me
If it's happening with legal crossers then that's bad. It doesn't matter if I agree with a law, or policy, if it's going to land me in jail and separated from my child then I'm not going to do it.
