At least seven of Trump's high-level selections are from Fox.

Trump threatens China, Mexico and Canada with new tariffs

    excerpt:

Leader of the Mexican senate, Gerardo Fernández, asked: "What tariffs should we impose on their [America's] goods until they stop consuming drugs and illegally exporting weapons to our homeland?"

Trump has seen Hegseth many times on Fox and his obsession with 'woke', which is why he selected him to head the military in his second term.

Hegseth is a strong proponent of shielding members of the military from being held accountable. He was one of the people who petitioned Trump to pardon military members who committed war crimes.

If he actually implements them, Trump's 25% tariffs mean higher prices and job losses for Americans. It's also arguably a violation of the USMCA agreement that Trump signed in 2020.

Trump Plans Tariffs on Canada, China and Mexico That Could Cripple Trade

    excerpt:

"That, in turn, could cause spiking prices and shortages for consumers in the United States and elsewhere, in addition to bankruptcies and job losses. Mr. Trump has insisted that foreign companies pay the tariffs, but they are actually paid by the company that imports the products, and in many cases passed on to American consumers.

Imposing tariffs on Canada and Mexico would also violate the terms of the North American trade agreement that Mr. Trump himself signed in 2020, called the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement. That could open the United States to legal challenges, and potentially threaten the pact itself and the terms of trade it sets for North America."

Joe and Mika of MSNBC visited Trump at Mar-a-Lago after the 2024 election, similar to Graham and McCarthy after the riot at the Capitol.

At the crossroads of news and opinion, 'Morning Joe' hosts grapple with aftermath of Trump meeting

    excerpt:

“They have portrayed themselves as bastions of integrity standing up to a would-be dictator,” says Frank Sesno, a former CNN Washington bureau chief now professor at George Washington University’s school of media and public affairs. “What the followers see is the daily procession of people on the show constantly talking about the evils of Donald Trump and then Joe and Mika show up and have high tea with the guy.”

Trump Plans Tariffs on Canada, China and Mexico That Could Cripple Trade

    excerpt:

"The tariffs would also have serious implications for American industries, including auto manufacturers, farmers and food packagers, which busily ship parts, materials and finished goods across U.S. borders. Mexico, China and Canada together account for more than a third of the goods and services both imported and exported by the United States, supporting tens of millions of American jobs.

The three countries together purchased more than $1 trillion of U.S. exports and provided nearly $1.5 trillion of goods and services to the United States in 2023."

We Know Who’s to Blame for Trump’s Evasion of Justice. It Isn’t Jack Smith.

    excerpt:

"Perhaps the most stunning aspect of the Jack Smith filing is that if you squint at it just so, it reads not all that unlike the majority opinion in the Trump immunity case, as penned by Chief Justice John Roberts: It’s a dispassionate reading of the scope of presidential power and highlights the necessity that a sitting president be able to carry out his duties in a robust and fearless manner. Like Roberts’ reasoning in the immunity case, the Smith pleading is rooted more in institutional vibes than constitutional commands. After all, the “separation of powers” principles cited by the OLC were not written down in the Constitution—from which they’re entirely absent—but made up by lawyers seeking to grant more power to the president. Smith’s decision to adhere to the letter and spirit of the OLC guidance is … a choice, a norm, not a constitutional command. The need to punish criminality ultimately sags under the policy preference that a president be able to “fulfill his constitutionally contemplated leadership role” and the “constitutional interest in the President’s unfettered performance of his duties.” In both instances, the abstractions that animate this constitutional discussion about executive authority exist in a Trump-free vacuum. Here we have the courts and the Office of Legal Counsel in substantial agreement on a maximalist view of unfettered presidential power."

Trump has finally signed the ethics agreements after a delay.

The Shady Reason Why Trump Might Not Have Signed These Key Documents

    excerpt:

"Richard Painter, a former Bush administration official, said of the delay: “Until they sign this agreement, they’re not yet government employees. They can do anything they want. They can have any conflicts of interest they want. They could be taking money from foreign governments for all we know.”

One of the agreements Trump has yet to sign would heavily restrict how much individuals and entities can donate to his transition effort. And, in a considerable break with tradition, Trump has so far refused to reveal who his transition donors are. Since foreign nationals can donate to presidential transitions, this raises definite red flags, as anyone could be trying to curry favor—and influence—with Trump without the American people knowing."

    Article from 2019.

Trump says U.S. to impose 5% tariff on all Mexican imports beginning June 10 in dramatic escalation of border clash

    excerpt:

"White House officials believe Trump has powers under a 1977 law to impose tariffs on all imports from certain countries if he cites a “national emergency.” And several months ago, Trump declared a national emergency along the Mexico border because of a surge in migrants crossing into the United States.

But the 1977 law has never been used to impose tariffs in this way before, and Trump’s new actions could face legal challenges due to the scope of companies that would be impacted."

Trump's desire to upstage Biden is more important to him than the young people who voted for him.

Similarly, Trump's been on a campaign since his first term to repeal the Affordable Care Act to get even with Obama, which would damage about 30 million Americans. He's so obsessed with Obama that he has mistakenly referred to Biden as Obama multiple times.

It's not even a retaliation. It's an obsession Trump has to overturn what his predecessors accomplished.

Trump has pledged to abolish the Department Of Education for supposedly indoctrinating young people with 'wokeness'.

    excerpt:

"President-elect Donald Trump is poised to pull the plug on President Joe Biden’s yearslong push to cancel student debt for tens of millions of people as Republicans sweep into power in the coming months.

Trump transition advisers and outside allies have been discussing ways to quickly unwind the various Biden-era initiatives that offered new or easier paths to loan forgiveness for borrowers, according to two people familiar with the discussions."

Trump taps Phelan to head the Navy.

Phelan started Rugger Management LLC in Palm Beach, Florida where Trump lives.

He will be overseeing an annual Navy budget of over $210 billion.

Trump taps GOP megadonor with no military experience to head up US Navy

    excerpt:

"He donated $834,600 to Trump’s joint fundraising committee in April, FEC filings show.

    Phelan has no military experience."

Trump's latest import tariff numbers. He's used varies numbers, seemingly confused about what exactly he wants to do.

    60% tariffs on China.

    10% extra tariff on China.

25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico.

Up to 20% tariffs on all the other countries in the world.

    Trump's sore-winner 2024 Thanksgiving Day greeting.

He posted it around 1 am.

Trump delivers Thanksgiving message to 'Radical Left Lunatics'

    excerpt:

"Happy Thanksgiving to all, including to the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed, and will always fail, because their ideas and policies are so hopelessly bad that the great people of our Nation just gave a landslide victory to those who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!" Trump wrote. "Don’t worry, our Country will soon be respected, productive, fair, and strong, and you will be, more than ever before, proud to be an American!"

Jack Smith Makes It Official: Donald Trump Got Away With Everything – Mother Jones

    excerpt:

"That impunity, coupled with the Supreme Court’s highly controversial declaration that presidents enjoy “absolute immunity” from prosecution for official actions, appears set to enable Trump to pursue his goals—including using the Justice Department to prosecute critics—with few legal restraints.

After taking office, Trump reportedly plans to fire Smith’s entire legal team, including career attorneys typically protected from political retribution. Pam Bondi, a lobbyist and former Florida attorney general who Trump plans to nominate for US attorney general, has said prosecutors who brought cases against Trump “will be prosecuted.”

With a pass for alleged past crimes and a pliant Supreme Court, Trump in his second term may be the first US president to operate above the law. He will probably not be the last."

Elon Musk has become known as Trump's 'First Buddy'.

He's also become known as 'Elonia' because he's beside Trump much more often than Melania who is rarely seen with Trump.
