Mecharn to hold another hearing on November 19.

Merchan has already pushed Trump's sentencing from July 10 to September 18 to November 26.

It's not known if the sentencing will take place or delayed again or if the case will be put on hold or dismissed.

Update expected in Trump hush-money case as post-election filing due

    excerpt:

"Trump’s original sentencing date was 10 July. This proceeding was put off following the 1 July US supreme court ruling that gave sitting presidents broad immunity for official acts undertaken while in office.

Trump’s team pushed Merchan to postpone his sentencing following the supreme court’s decision. Trump also tried to challenge his conviction, noting the supreme court decision.

Merchan consented to considering the legal issues and delayed sentencing until 18 September “if such is still necessary”. In August, Trump’s lawyers requested additional time, arguing that they needed it to potentially appeal Merchan’s ruling.

On 6 September, Merchan pushed Trump’s sentencing back again to 26 November – weeks after election day – writing that the situation was “fraught with complexities”. The delay, Merchan said, was intended to “to avoid any appearance – however unwarranted – that the proceeding has been affected by or seeks to affect the approaching presidential election in which the defendant is a candidate”."

Trump should move into the Fox News studios instead of the White House.

Judge to rule on throwing out Trump hush money conviction

    excerpt:

"Trump, who had been scheduled to be sentenced on November 26, may receive a reprieve if Judge Juan Merchan decides to dismiss the case following the Supreme Court's recent ruling on presidential immunity.

That landmark ruling saw the court, with a 6-3 conservative majority, decide that presidents have sweeping immunity from prosecution for a range of official acts committed while in office.

Ahead of the election, Trump's lawyers moved to have the case thrown out in light of the Supreme Court decision, a move which prosecutors have firmly rejected.

If Merchan throws out the case on that basis, there will be no sentencing of Trump, 78."

The trial is for a second defamation suit that Freeman and Moss filed against Giuliani. They say he continued to make the same type of unsubstantiated accusations against them about supposedly engaging in election fraud.

Freeman and Moss won their first suit. Giuliani finally turned over some of his property to them last week.

In hindsight, Trump was reelected anyway.

The people like Giuliani, Lindell, and Trump's rioters who needlessly threw their lives away for his lies could have instead waited four years for his return.

Trump claims he has an ‘unprecedented’ mandate. Experts say it’s actually very small

    excerpt:

"But Trump’s margin of victory, historically speaking, is very small. Although he may have won handily in the Electoral College by 312 to 226, he is estimated to win the popular vote by around 1.6 percent. That puts him in 16th place among post-Second World War presidential victories, just behind Jimmy Carter, but ahead of his 2016 performance when he lost the popular vote but still won the keys to the White House."

Trump's percentage of the national popular vote is now in the 49% range after more votes have been counted. It's no longer a majority of the vote.

Giuliani maintains that he is truthful and that Freeman and Moss are the liars.

In Giuliani's mind, Freeman and Moss suing him for defamation is tantamount to defaming him. They already won their first case against Giuliani. If he thinks that way, he should sue them for defamation and try to win.

The trial for their second defamation case against him is scheduled to start in January a few days before Trump's inauguration.

Merchan delayed Trump's sentencing until after the 2024 RNC convention and then until after the November election so as to look politically correct during an election season.

Trump transition live updates: Musk backs Gaetz for AG amid allegations: 'Hammer of Justice'

    excerpt:

"Billionaire Elon Musk is throwing his support behind Matt Gaetz, President-elect Donald Trump's pick for attorney general, as allegations continue to surface surrounding what witnesses told the House Ethics Committee regarding the former congressman.

"Matt Gaetz has 3 critical assets that are needed for the AG role: a big brain, a spine of steel and an axe to grind," Musk wrote on X. "He is the Judge Dredd America needs to clean up a corrupt system and put powerful bad actors in prison."

"Gaetz will be our Hammer of Justice," he added."
