Trump won Ohio this election cycle by about 11.4%. In 2016 and 2020, he won by about 8%.

Moreno unseated incumbent Democrat Brown for the U.S. Senate in Ohio seat by about 3.8%.

Ohio has drifted away from being a swing, battleground state due to its further movement to the right since Trump arrived fully on the political scene in 2016..

China has made adjustments to better shield itself against another Trump trade war.

How much leverage Trump has over China with his pledged expanded trade war against it is debatable.

Trump has said vaguely that another trade war with China would allow him to do other things with China, although he didn't specify what he meant by 'other things'.

Trump has the least amount of leverage in the NY state E. Jean Carroll civil defamation case that he lost.

The court ruled that he defamed her and raped her. The behavior of Trump happened before he was president and didn't involve behavior while he was president that could be considered official acts of a president.

The NY criminal fraud trial involving Stormy Daniels involved testimony from former Trump official Hope Hicks that involved conversations she had with Trump at the White House when he was president. It gives Trump leverage in using the Supreme Court's presidential immunity ruling to try to dismiss the case or overturn his conviction on 34 felony counts.

George H.W. Bush made Bill Bennet the drug czar in 1989.

Bennet had no law enforcement experience. But he had the physical appearance of a police sargeant.

His mentality about trying to solve the drug problem is similar to that of Trump, such as trying to use the military to try to stop the flow of drugs.

Bennett later became an ardent supporter of Trump.

Bennett, First U.S. Drug Czar, Quits : Narcotics: Outspoken official brands Rep. Rangel 'a gas bag' and capital 'a basket case.' He says nation is beginning to break the habit.

    excerpt:

"Bennett predicted that within five years the Administration will meet its goal of reducing drug abuse by 50%. “The reality is clear: This country is beginning to break its interest and habit on drugs,” he said.

Last year, Bennett, director of the Office of National Drug Policy, laid out a strategy that called for beefing up law enforcement and using the military to cut the supply of drugs crossing the nation’s borders."

Another statement by Bennett in 2016.

He accused conservatives critical of Trump to be afflicted with moral superiority and not able to deal with Trump's occasional infelicities.

    William Bennett - Wikipedia

    excerpt:

"In 2016, Bennett vigorously supported Donald Trump in his presidential campaign, writing that saying that conservatives who objected to Trump "suffer from a terrible case of moral superiority and put their own vanity and taste above the interest of the country" and that "our country can survive the occasional infelicities and improprieties of Donald Trump. But it cannot survive losing the Supreme Court to liberals."[21]

Today, Bennet would probably still say that people can't accept the little faults of Trump, like mounting a violent insurrection to overturn a fair presidential election that caused 13 deaths and hundreds of injuries, being convicted of 34 felony fraud counts, having two federal criminal cases against him, losing a massive civil fraud case in NY, and losing a defamation case to a women that the court ruled he raped.

Biden to host Trump at White House on Wednesday.

Biden to host Trump at the White House on Wednesday

    excerpt:

"In 2020, following Trump’s loss to Biden, the previous Trump administration stonewalled the transition between administrations, spending weeks denying that Trump lost and fighting the Biden team’s efforts to begin transition work.

Only in early January, hours after a violent mob of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol seeking to stop Congress from certifying Biden’s victory, did then-President Trump agree to an orderly and peaceful transfer of power.

Trump explicitly did not invite Biden to meet at the White House in 2020, forgoing a custom that Trump participated in with then-President Barack Obama in 2016."

Eventually Kari Lake will 'win' an election (or not). Maybe she'll sue her high school senior class for not voting her to be Prom Queen. More likely she'll be a spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Hay and Oats Division, specializing in reading a teleprompter.

Trump reportedly will tap Kristi Noem to head the Department Of Homeland Security.

Noem is known for her book where she said she killed her dog because she thought it was untrainable.
