Maybe tRump should put half the time he puts into lawsuits and various vitriol into programs and policies, he might actually accomplish something.

 

Fox Corp. and Fox News are still facing a lawsuit by Smartmatic for misinformation they propagated about election equipment supposedly being rigged to steal the 2020 election from Trump.

In September 2024, Smartmatic and Newsmax reached a settlement for misinformation Newsmax spread about the 2020 election.

 

In the final days of the 2024 presidential race, Trump continues to make attacks on transgenders a centerpiece of his campaign, talking like they are a threat to national identity.

My, that is surely a heart felt apology to the Puerto Ricans and Latinos. Sure made me melt.....or puke.

 

Trump should wear a Chipotle uniform and serve tacos for 15 minutes while the restaurant is shut down to his supporters who have been screened by the Secret Service..

He might have thought of such a PR stunt had he not been so infuriated that Harris was employed at his beloved McDonald's and he wasn't.

 

It could be said that Biden smacked the fumbled ball back into the air to allow Trump to recover it and score a touchdown.

It's like the famous 'Immaculate Reception' play that allowed the Steelers to win on the final play when Franco Harris scooped up a deflected ball and ran for a touchdown.

Trump has a way of extricating himself from one impending demise after another, often by seemingly mere good fortune chance.

 

The first assassination attempt is an example. It helped turn Trump into a religious icon a few months before the election, someone who is seemingly protected by the Divine to lead America out of the valley of darkness (that he created).

 

It is fascinating to watch the princes of white straight Christian male privilege, who've been using the most awful and offensive dehumanizing language to disparage and demonize every minority they can think of for the past eight years, collectively gasp and clutch their pearls at being called "garbage".

 

After nine years of Trump incessantly attacking every group he doesn't like, which covers most of the country, the American public keeps forgiving him and gives him yet another chance, even after he turned on his own VP and attacked the seat of the federal government to try to steal an election from the public. It's like letting a burglar who stole your belongings back into your house again and again because his personality is somehow likeable in a pathological way.

America can no longer take the high road and scorn the countries around the world that are being controlled by authoritarians.

It conjures up thoughts of what economically prominent and socially respectable country in the future might become the representative of democracy.
