Opinion | Donald Trump is running his campaign into the ground excerpt: "Presidential campaigns usually run their get-out-the-vote operations using campaign staff and volunteers. But in this election cycle, Donald Trump’s presidential campaign made a big and risky gamble: outsourcing the bulk of its ground game to America PAC, an outside group founded by tech titan Elon Musk. That move followed the Federal Election Commission’s decision to allow campaigns, for the first time, to work more closely with outside groups on GOTV operations."

"While the FCC has authority to provide licenses for television and radio, it is pretty fundamental that we do not take them away because a political candidate disagrees with or dislikes any kind of content or coverage," Rosenworcel says."
Trump would have to start revoking the FCC licenses of many individual TV and radio stations around the country to try to squelch the remarks by them that he doesn't like. Not being able to do such a maneuver, he'd look for other approaches to stifle the media networks, such as issuing heavy fines. Trump threatened fine GM if it closed automotive plants in the Youngstown, OH area. GM closed the plants and he never followed through. One of Trump's latest threats is to impose a 200% import tariff on John Deere after it announced it plans to move some of its assembly operations to Mexico. Such a tariff would damage both John Deere and the American farmers who depend on Deere equipment.
An example of Trump following through on his threats to journalists is his riot at the Capitol. His rioters smashed the media equipment and physically attacked journalists while Trump watched it on TV at the White House for hours while doing nothing to stop it.
Trump would be the first convicted felon to be elected president. President Grant was allegedly convicted of misdemeanors before he became president. G.W. Bush was convicted of drunk driving, a misdemeanor, before he became president.
One of the numerous boneheaded remarks Trump made in front of the Memorial Wall of fallen CIA agents when he was president. Ex-CIA boss Brennan, others rip Trump speech in front of Memorial Wall excerpt: To a gathering of career intelligence professionals, he said, "Probably almost everybody in this room voted for me, but I will not ask you to raise your hands if you did."
Harris needs to remind the public that Trump is a convicted felon. It's like people have forgotten about this fact or aren't even aware of it. Biden mentioned it during the presidential debate by saying, “Only one of us is a convicted felon, and I'm looking at him.”
Could you imagine the GOP outcry if Bill Gates handed out a million bucks for votes like Musk just did? Oh, wait, laws only apply to the little people.

Musk didn't do his daily million-dollar giveaway yesterday to registered voters after the DOJ issued a statement that it may violate federal laws. He did announce two winners the next day. It can be argued that the tactic Musk is using of requiring people to be registered to vote to be in his contest is tantamount to paying them to register to vote. https://www.axios.com/2024/10/24/elon-musk-million-dollar-giveaway-doj-warning
McDonald's E.coli cases have now occurred in 13 states. It gives the impression that Trump needs to stay away from the food prep area at McDonald's after his stunt.

The other scenario is that JD Vance could be declared President by the 25th amendment and a vote of Trump's cabinet after Trump wins and is sworn in again. And Vance, in some ways, is worse than Trump, more dangerous - and is less qualified in his experience to govern than Trump.
Vance could end up being president even if Trump isn't sent to jail, considering the mental degradation of Trump during the past year as evidenced by his increased incoherent ramblings . It's difficult to fathom the state of Trump's mental condition years into the future. It would be either a highly mentally compromised Trump as president or Vance, who could also be deemed to be mentally compromised in his current state.

https://www.npr.org/2024/10/25/g-s1-29963/stacey-williams-donald-trump-jeffrey-epstein excerpt: "The alleged incident between Trump and Williams took place while Williams was dating Epstein, who was, in the 1980s and 1990s, a friend of Trump’s. Epstein had taken Williams to Trump Tower to meet Trump, and she says Trump immediately started groping her. “This context made no sense because the hands were on me, and then he and Jeffrey just kept talking and looking at each other and smiling,” she said. “I just had this really, like, sickening feeling that it was coordinated — that somehow the whole thing was, I was rolled in there like a piece of meat for some kind of weird, twisted game.” Williams also says she received a postcard from Trump shortly after the encounter, where he wrote that Palm Beach, Fla. — site of what's now his Mar-a-Lago Club — was her "home away from home.""
Like he reportedly said about his supporters at the Ellipse just before his riot at the Capitol started who were observed to have weapons, Trump just as well could have said about the assassin in Butler, PA, 'Let him in. He's not going to hurt me.' Trump is so gullible that he would let assassins in to kill him, thinking they're his fans, if it weren't for the Secret Service around him who know better.
