Trump and Melania to attend Al Smith dinner together as Harris skips it to campaign excerpt: "Trump has not released a detailed medical report, instead republishing a vague letter from his doctor from November 2023, and two letters from Rep Ronny Jackson concerning the wound to his ear from July this year."
Melania's anti-bullying campaign should have as it's symbol Trump's face with a red circle-slash on it.
We watched 20 Trump rallies. His racist, anti-immigrant messaging is getting darker. By Myah Ward 10/12/2024 01:44 PM EDT https://www.politico.com/news/2024/10/12/trump-racist-rhetoric-immigrants-00183537 excerpt: "He has increasingly targeted specific communities, including Springfield, Ohio, Charleroi, Pennsylvania and Aurora, arguing that immigrants are destroying American towns and cities across the country and using those examples to call for large-scale federal response. Trump has spent the last month on the trail elevating the claims about those communities — even as local officials have been denying these allegations and asking the Republican nominee to stand down. Trump on Friday used false stories about gang takeovers in Aurora as he announced he would remove migrants connected to gangs under an “Operation Aurora” based on presidential wartime powers under the Alien Enemies Act. (While police in Aurora have encountered some gang activity tied to a Venezuelan group, there has been no gang takeover in Colorado.) “Efforts to blame outsiders, a politically voiceless group, which Trump is an expert at doing, has led to atrocities in the United States — everything from Japanese internment to Operation Wetback,” said Ediberto Román, a Florida International University law professor who studies xenophobia and immigration."
Trump mentioned Aurora, CO during his anti-immigrant rant as if it was taken over by migrants. The mass shooting at the movie theater happened in Aurora, CO. It wasn't done by a migrant but rather a white American raised in an upper middle-class family in San Diego. The person who tried to assassinate Trump in Butler, PA wasn't a migrant. It was a white person raised in a middle-class family in the U.S. The person who did the second assassination attempt on Trump wasn't a migrant. He was from a white middle-class family in Florida.
Many of the people who have been caught voting illegally are people who voted twice for Trump, not Democrats. Trump has been quiet about all of his supporters who were caught. A slew of people in the conservative retirement home 'The Villages' in Florida were caught voting illegally. Trump stayed quiet about it. 4th resident of The Villages admits to voting twice in the 2020 election
Trump says nothing was done wrong on Jan. 6. Confronted by a Republican voter about the Jan. 6 riot, Trump says 'nothing' was done wrong that day excerpt: "There were no guns down there. We didn’t have guns. The others had guns, but we didn’t have guns. And when I say we, these are people that walked down — this was a tiny percentage of the overall which nobody sees and nobody, nobody shows. But that was a day of love," he said. Testimony before the House Jan. 6 committee alleged Trump was aware that many in the crowd were armed with an array of weapons, including guns, before the march to the Capitol.
Trump's legal team tried to keep Stormy Daniels quiet ahead of 2024 election, MSNBC reports excerpt: "Former President Donald Trump this summer offered a financial incentive to adult film star Stormy Daniels if she agreed to keep quiet about Trump — including about the relationship that became the center of the hush money payments that ended up the subject of a New York criminal trial — ahead of this November’s election, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow reported on Wednesday."
In an article in US News and World Report yesterday, NBC’s former chief marketer John D. Miller apologized to America for helping to “create a monster.” Miller led the team that marketed The Apprentice, the reality TV show that made Trump a household name. “To sell the show,” Miller wrote, “we created the narrative that Trump was a super-successful businessman who lived like royalty.” But the truth was that he declared bankruptcy six times, and “[t]he imposing board room where he famously fired contestants was a set, because his real boardroom was too old and shabby for TV,” Miller wrote. While Trump loved the attention the show provided, “more successful CEOs were too busy to get involved in reality TV.” Miller says they “promoted the show relentlessly,” blanketing the country with a “highly exaggerated” image of Trump as a successful businessman “like a heavy snowstorm.” “[W]e…did irreparable harm by creating the false image of Trump as a successful leader,” Miller wrote. “I deeply regret that. And I regret that it has taken me so long to go public.” Speaking as a “born-and-bred Republican,” Miller warned: “If you believe that Trump will be better for you or better for the country, that is an illusion, much like The Apprentice was.” He strongly urged people to vote for Kamala Harris. “The country will be better off and so will you.”
That there is even thought to be a choice between Harris and the lying asshole trump---is just amazing!! He should have been LAUGHED right off the scene as soon as he popped his orange head up!!!

Ex-Argonne National Laboratory employee gets 18 months for assaulting officers during Capitol riot excerpt: "About a week after the attack on the Capitol, someone sent a tip to the FBI that an employee of Argonne National Laboratory was possibly involved in the riot. Reierson was employed as a lead welder at Argonne for more than 40 years. The FBI matched images from videos to Reierson’s Illinois driver’s license and began surveillance of his home.
