Trump's head could be in a jar of bio-chemicals in a lab keeping him alive but unconscious and half the electorate would vote him back into office.

Trump's sweet spot in the 2016 election (and for a possible win in the 2024 election) is in the lower left quadrant near the origin (winning the electoral vote but losing the popular vote).

Simulations by the group FiveThirtyEight show the likelihood of a presidential candidate winning the Electoral College while losing the popular vote.

The larger the popular vote loss margin, the less likely it is to win the Electoral College.

One of the simulations shows Trump losing the popular vote by about 5% but winning the Electoral College with 270 votes (270 is the minimum needed to win). The lower-left quadrant of the graph is the region where Trump could win the election while losing the popular vote.

In the 2016 race, Trump won the election while losing the popular vote to Hillary Clinton by about 2.1%. It is shown as a star on the graph in the lower-left quadrant..

If Trump wins the 2024 election, it's probable that he will be somewhere in the lower-left quadrant like he was in the 2016 election and with a small win margin in the Electoral College, probably between 270 and 300 votes.

Trump lost the popular vote by about 4.5% to Biden. Such a large margin makes it improbable to win the Electoral College while losing the popular vote..

The swath of points plotted are skewed slightly toward the lower-left quadrant. It shows that the Republican party has a slight advantage in the Electoral College compared to Democrats, being able to win it while losing the popular vote.

Without that advantage, the swath would pass through the origin.

Only a few blue points show up in the upper-right quadrant for Democrats (winning the Electoral College vote while losing the popular vote) compared with many more red points in the lower-left quadrant.

 

I have absolutely no clue why that song was even played in support of ANYTHING pertaining to Trump.

The song writer gave the license to BMI for political use, and he or his estate is happy for the royalties and exposure since everytime it's played at a Trump rally, sales jump. Other performers also don't mind the money. I think many believe that trump is a money making machine. Follow him and money just falls into your lap.

Migrants were in the U.S. during Trump's administration.

Had he deported them, it would have hurt the farmers in addition to the damage Trump did to them with his tariff wars.

 

And the farmers all believed he was the best thing ever....while he fucked over every single one of them..

 

In the context of government aid in the tens of billions of dollars and direct government payments to farmers (welfare checks), Trump could be said to have been 'good' to farmers by trying to undo the damage he did to them with his trade wars.

The psyche of the American farmers seems to have degraded. It was once a group that prided itself in self-reliance and free market (parity, not charity). Trump came along and made them think that he was their savior.

Trump's 2020 pitch to the farmers was that they should reelect him so that he can finally win his trade wars so that they will be wealthy later like he promised.
