Prosecutors are telling Cannon to start making decisions. Frustrated Prosecutors Ask Trump Documents Judge to Act on Key Claim excerpt: "The prosecutors want Judge Cannon to take that course of action, because any decision she makes on the motion to dismiss can be challenged in an appeals court. But if the case is allowed to reach the jury, any ruling she might make acquitting Mr. Trump cannot be appealed. Almost from the moment she was assigned the case in June, Judge Cannon, who was appointed by Mr. Trump in his waning days in office, has handled the proceeding in an unorthodox manner. She has put off making several legal and logistical decisions. And she has spent time at hearings entertaining a series of unusual arguments by Mr. Trump’s lawyers that many federal judges would have rejected out of hand."
Frustrated Prosecutors Ask Trump Documents Judge to Act on Key Claim excerpt: "Moreover, Mr. Trump’s lawyers have never said he officially designated the documents in question as his own. Rather, they have claimed that the designation can be inferred from the fact that he took them from the White House to Mar-a-Lago, his private club and residence in Florida, rather than sending them, as the government says he should have, to the National Archives."
Judge Cannon has snookered prosecutors with her delay tactics. Because she's made very few decisions and allowed Trump's odd claims to pile up, Jack Smith has little recourse in an appeals court. Frustrated Prosecutors Ask Trump Documents Judge to Act on Key Claim excerpt: "Typically, recusal motions require prosecutors to point to flawed decisions. And so far, Judge Cannon has largely avoided making decisions, complicating any effort to get rid of her."
Trump Media saved in 2022 by Russian person under criminal investigation. Exclusive: Trump Media saved in 2022 by Russian-American under criminal investigation excerpt: "Through leaked documents, the Guardian has learned that ES Family Trust operated like a shell company for a Russian-American businessman named Anton Postolnikov, who co-owns Paxum Bank and has been a subject of a years-long joint federal criminal investigation by the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) into the Trump Media merger. The existence of the trust has previously been reported by the Guardian and the Washington Post. However, who controlled the account, how the trust was connected to Paxum Bank, and how the money had been funneled through the trust to Trump Media was unknown."
In other words, the government documents became the property of Trump at the end of his term when, without permission, he knowingly and permanently removed them from the White House (when he stole them).

Judge Merchan denies Trump's request to delay NY hush money criminal trial. Trump wanted it delayed until after the U.S. Supreme Court decides whether he has absolute presidential immunity (which is a far-fetched claim but the SC agreed to hear it anyway). The SC may not issue a ruling for that claim until June 2024 or possibly even later when the next term starts in fall 2024.. Trump appealed his court losses for his immunity claims to the SC. Trump used the immunity claim to stall his federal criminal case in DC that resulted from his attempt to overthrow the 2020 election. He's been trying to use the SC review for that federal criminal case to stall his NY hush money criminal trial that is scheduled to start April 15, 2024. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/tr...ial-until-us-supreme-court-review-2024-04-03/

https://thehill.com/opinion/judicia...rom-trumps-mob-i-know-hes-an-insurrectionist/ excerpt: "I defended the Capitol, with blood dripping from my mouth, until I could no longer. It was clear the mob that Trump assembled and directed forcibly attempted to stop the peaceful transfer of power. In Colorado, Trump’s attorneys cross-examined me, but not once did they address the violence I recounted. Instead, they tried to discredit my testimony, despite my body camera footage proving otherwise. Notably, however, Trump’s lawyers didn’t even attempt to defend Trump’s insurrectionist efforts. There was no question as to who had sparked that violence, nor who had the absolute power to end it: Donald Trump."

Trump leading Biden in 6 key swing states: Survey excerpt: "Former President Trump leads President Biden in six of seven of the closest swing states, according to a Wall Street Journal poll published Wednesday. Leaning on dissatisfaction with the economy and swirling questions over Biden’s age, Trump has a multipoint lead in each battleground except for Wisconsin, where Biden leads by 3 points in a three-way race with independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr., per the survey. To win reelection, Biden will need to retain the “blue wall” of states — Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania — he flipped in 2020. Trump holds a 2-point lead in Michigan and a 3-point lead in Pennsylvania, though each has a significant portion of undecided voters. Biden also carried Georgia, Nevada and Arizona in the last election, all of which have stronger Trump support, according to the poll. Trump leads in Georgia by 3 points, in Nevada by 4 points and in Arizona by a significant 5-point margin."

It's extremely easy to manipulate Trump. Parnas did it at a dinner with Trump by making a statement critical of Yovanovitch. Trump responded immediately by telling him to take out Yovanovich. Article from January 2020. Parnas recording shows Trump talking with indicted businessmen the President has said he doesn’t know | CNN Politics excerpt: "A nearly 90-minute recording released Saturday of President Donald Trump at a 2018 donor dinner that included indicted businessmen he has claimed he doesn’t know features Trump speaking animatedly about removing the US ambassador to Ukraine – at one point stating, “Get rid of her!” The tape was shared publicly by an attorney for Lev Parnas, the Soviet-born businessman who subsequently worked with Rudy Giuliani to push for ousting the ambassador, Marie Yovanovitch. She was ultimately removed from her post in April 2019. “Get her out tomorrow. I don’t care,” the President says at a dinner with donors at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, DC. “Get her out tomorrow. Take her out. OK? Do it.”"

Trump is still saying he doesn't know Parnas. Parnas was eventually convicted and sentence to prison for about a year and a half. He's currently revealing dirt about Trump. When he and Trump were friends, they were trying to reveal dirt on Biden by trying to coerce the president of Ukraine to publicly state that an investigation in Ukraine would be started about Biden. Trump ended up being impeached for withholding U.S. military aid to Ukraine to coerce its president.
In the audio recording, people at the dinner were laughing at Yovanovitch's remarks that Trump would eventually be impeached over his manipulation of Ukraine. Trump was impeached for it. Trump eventually ousted Yovanovitch.
