Trump's attorneys are still trying to delay the trial by claiming an unfair jury pool caused by Trump's publicity of the case.

Takeaways from Donald Trump’s wild day of legal developments | CNN Politics

    excerpt:

"Immediately after Merchan’s decision to start the hush money trial next month, Trump’s attorneys sought another way to push back the start of the trial.

Blanche asked to file a motion seeking to delay the trial because of pretrial publicity. Trump’s attorneys have argued that a recent documentary about Daniels and the fallout from the hush money payment being made public prejudiced the jury pool, and that the case is taking place so close to the 2024 election.

The district attorney’s office responded by arguing that pretrial publicity “has been caused and exacerbated by the defendant.”"

The same can be said about all of Trump's claims about the 2020 election supposedly being stolen from him. All talk and no evidence.

It works for campaigning but not in court (unless Cannon is the judge).

    https://www.salon.com/2024/03/25/fo...-mental-decline-changes-in-movement-and-gait/

    excerpt:
    • Changes in speech patterns with many fewer and simpler words (decline in vocabulary) with fewer adjectives and adverbs.
    • A decline in cognitive focus on speech subjects with incomplete sentences and an inability to focus on a topic long enough to complete a sentence when not reading from a teleprompter.
    • Difficulty pronouncing words, word substitution and nonsense words – known as paraphasia
    • Tangential thinking where the topic switches mid-sentence to some unrelated topic.
    • Frequent repetition of words and phrases as if his mind is stuck in a loop.
    • Disinhibition and an inability to control verbal outbursts.
    • Socially inappropriate behavior – mocking a man with muscular dystrophy, disrespecting fallen soldiers as losers.
    • Lack of self-awareness in that he apparently cannot see how inappropriate his behavior has become and use his judgment to stop himself.
    • Changes in movement and gait. His walk appears wide-based and he has developed a swing of his right leg. He appears glued to the floor when he “dances” for his audience. If caught on camera standing still, he appears unnaturally immobile.
    • The changes in judgment and impulse control have uncovered and perhaps worsened underlying personality traits that others have characterized as narcissistic and antisocial. The changes have led some experts to suggest a diagnosis of “malignant narcissism."

With that pathetic swing, he's lucky to get off the tee. It's quite comical "oh wow, I won again"....yet you never see his scores, his handicap, never see him putt...he's a hacker.

Trump says criminal conviction would make him more popular and claims Biden is on trial.

Trump suggests conviction in hush money case could make him more popular | WDTN.com

    excerpt:

“Well, it could also make me more popular because the people know it’s a scam,” Trump said when asked if he was concerned about the political fallout of a possible conviction.

“It’s a Biden trial. There is no trial. There’s a Biden trial,” Trump added, claiming without evidence that President Biden was responsible for his myriad legal problems.

Gee there's now over 71,400 posts in this thread! And it's more than 7 years old, going strong! (stronger than Trump for sure)
That's not even one post for every lie Trump has uttered.

Trump is selling $60 Bibles with Greenwood who's known for singing "God Bless The U.S.A."

He says it's his favorite book, even though he wasn't able to recite a single verse when asked by reporters.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2024/03/26/trump-selling-60-god-bless-the-usa-bibles-with-lee-greenwood.html

    excerpt:

"Donald Trump on Tuesday started promoting a line of pricey Bibles in a partnership with country music star Lee Greenwood, whose song "God Bless the U.S.A." is omnipresent at the former president's political rallies.

"All Americans need a Bible in their home, and I have many," Trump said in a video on Truth Social announcing the business deal.

"It's my favorite book. It's a lot of people's favorite book," he added.

"Religion and Christianity are the biggest things missing from this country, and I truly believe that we need to bring them back," he said. "It's one of the biggest problems we have, that's why our country's going haywire, we've lost religion in our country.""

    Gender, Age

That's in conflict with Trump and others who have said the rioters were unarmed.

Their weapons included crutches, broken-off table legs, pepper spray, bear spray, guns, and shields, batons, and stun guns, stolen from police.

That stat is particularly disturbing considering such groups are supposed to be defending the public and government officials. Police and military people when nefarious can do an extreme amount of damage to innocent people considering the training they have.

Trump twisted their perception to the extreme and turned them against the people they were supposed to be defending.
