Trump mocks Haley for husband not being on campaign trail with her. Trump may have senility but it is with bravado and obesity. Why the Age Issue Is Hurting Biden So Much More Than Trump excerpt: "Mr. Biden’s voice has grown softer and raspier, his hair thinner and whiter. He is tall and trim but moves more tentatively than he did as a candidate in 2019 and 2020, often holding his upper body stiff, adding to an impression of frailty. And he has had spills in the public eye: falling off a bicycle, tripping over a sandbag. Mr. Trump, by contrast, does not appear to be suffering the effects of time in such visible ways. Mr. Trump often dyes his hair and appears unnaturally tan. He is heavyset and tall, and he uses his physicality to project strength in front of crowds. When he takes the stage at rallies, he basks in adulation for several minutes, dancing to an opening song, and then holds forth in speeches replete with macho rhetoric and bombast that typically last well over an hour, a display of stamina. “It is the perception of how you communicate,” said Carol Kinsey Goman, a speaker and coach on leadership presence. “When Trump makes those kinds of faux pas, he just brushes it off, and people don’t say, ‘Oh, he’s aging.’ He makes at least as many mistakes as Joe Biden, but because he does it with this bravado, it doesn’t seem like senility. It seems like passion.” With Mr. Biden, Ms. Goman said, “it looks like weakness.”"
Trump demands that other people pay their bills and pay them in full after spending his time telling banks and contractors he will pay them back only half of what he owes. Trump says he would encourage Russia to ‘do whatever the hell they want’ to any NATO country that doesn’t pay enough | CNN Politics excerpt: "Trump said “one of the presidents of a big country” at one point asked him whether the US would still defend the country if they were invaded by Russia even if they “don’t pay.” “No, I would not protect you,” Trump recalled telling that president. “In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want. You got to pay. You got to pay your bills.”"

Federal judge finds former Colorado Springs pastor guilty on six counts related to Jan. 6 capitol riot excerpt: "I'm probably going to lose my job as pastor after this ... Toobin predicts Supreme Court will overturn Trump Colorado ballot ban: ‘Slam dunk’ excerpt: "CNN analyst Van Jones said Thursday on the network that the court’s hesitance to block Trump from the ballot showed a “foregone conclusion” that is probably “very frustrating for a lot of people.” “This is a Supreme Court that seems very strong when it’s time to take rights away from women, very strong when it’s time to take diversity programs away from college kids, very, very strong,” Jones said. “Voting rights away from Americans, very, very strong. But now, it’s time to disenfranchise a disenfranchiser and they’re just looking for the exits.”"
The conservative Supreme Court is known for making decisions siding with state laws governing elections over federal laws such as the Voting Rights Act that are intended to protect voters from being disenfranchised by state laws. Now it's in an uncomfortable position to do the opposite by taking away the rights of states to disqualify Trump, which would advance Trump who is known for wanting to selectively disenfranchise voters (such as trying to disqualify votes in Democratic leaning regions in the 2020 election).
