Trump again mistakenly referred to Biden as Obama . This time it was while being interviewed my Kilmeade of Fox. Trump made the same mistake during a rally. Trump tried to cover his mistake by saying that he meant Obama from the start because he thinks Obama is secretly running the Biden administration.
Some of the elderly politicians like Trump seem afflicted with harking back to names that are no longer relavent. When Bob Dole was running for president, he mistakenly referred to the Braves baseball team as the Milwaukee Braves. The Braves moved to Atlanta in 1966.
Trump refers to Biden as Obama. Trump says he's right about everything. 2:40 in video. Youtube video:
Trump hasn't pleaded lately to the Supreme Court and the GOP in Congress to save him from his criminal cases like he did before. It was a last-ditch effort, like Wile E. Coyote opening up the umbrella right before the 20 ton boulder crushes him.
The GOP in Congress can't even decide who will be its House leader, let alone save Trump from criminal charges.
DeSantis PAC Never Back Down backed down after CA GOP changed rules of primary that are expected to favor Trump. A pro-DeSantis super PAC stopped its door-knocking operation in California after the state's GOP engineered changes to award its presidential delegates to the candidate who wins a majority of the vote
Trump appears to be manipulating the GOP system to favor him. It's what he accused Ted Cruz and Hillary Clinton of doing in 2016. Inside Trump’s Backroom Effort to Lock Up the Nomination
This sounds like another Trump bluster venture that went in a circle and returned to its starting point. It remains to be seen what the source of funds will be to continue the venture.
This week Cannon said the DOJ lawyers in the documents case were wasting court time. She should have used those words to Trump in autumn 2022 when he stalled the DOJ documents investigation by requesting a special master, which Cannon granted The special master decision by Cannon was overturned. Cannon was given an intense scolding by the conservative 11th Circuit of Appeals.
Quote by Maureen Dowd of NYT about Trump's arrest in DC: ”The man who tried to overthrow the government he was running was held Thursday by the government he tried to overthrow, a few blocks from where the attempted overthrow took place and a stone’s throw from the White House he yearns to return to, to protect himself from the government he tried to overthrow.”
Hamas compliments Putin. Similarly, Trump has praised Putina and complimented Hamas for being smart. Hamas Gives a Shout-Out to Vladimir Putin
Trump's ringleaders have descended into this situation. The convicted, Trump-pardoned, former Trump National Security Advisor, Flynn, auctioned a pillow autographed by the financially failing, stolen election truther, Lindell, to raise money for the former Trump Director of Trade and Manufacturing Policy, Navarro, who has been convicted of contempt stemming from Trump's attempt to overthrow the 2020 election. Michael Flynn auctions off MyPillow signed by Mike Lindell for Peter Navarro's legal fund
If Trump is reelected, those three people would probably have high level positions in his administration.

Red state conservatives are dying thanks to the people they vote for excerpt: "The Trump family is doubling down on Nazi. Imagine how the press would treat the story if Hunter Biden was hosting a Holocaust-denying antisemitic speaker who claimed the “good guys lost” WWII at an event on property owned by his father. Every news network in the country would be there and the story would run nonstop. This guy even managed to kill a person while driving drunk and got off, and Eric Trump is hosting him at an event at Trump’s Miami Doral bedbug palace. He is, by the way, the fourth Holocaust-denying Nazi-loving speaker to have taken the stage at these events. But is the mainstream press covering it at all? Not that I can find. Media Matters has the whole story here: hopefully some real reporters will show up and blow this story wide open, although I’m not holding my breath." https://www.mediamatters.org/eric-t...ure-ian-smith-hitler-promoting-antisemite-who
While president, Trump wanted his Doral resort to host the G-7 summit. Trump's advisors talked him out of it. They had just tried to put out the fire he started by coercing the leader of Ukraine by withholding U.S. military aid. Trump started another fire with his Doral promotion.
On the topic of Covid, Chris Christie, who is now running against Trump for president, contracted Covid, likely from Trump, and spent a week in the ICU. The GOP's isolationist stance in light of the wars in Ukraine and Gaza. DeSantis is saying that Israel can handle itself while saying U.S. funding for Ukraine should stop at least temporarily. Trump is saying that he has the solutions to everything, but won't elaborate until after the 2024 election. The war between Israel and Hamas is testing the Republican Party's isolationist shift
Trump and the GOP need to become aware that isolationist platforms that seem acceptable during a tranquil era are difficult to justify when major conflicts are happening in the world that affect the U.S. significantly Trump was fortunate during his term that, not including Covid, no major international crises cropped up (and it wasn't due to his empty bluster that Gaetz claims forced countries to be polite). He had the luxury of pretending that a national emergency existed at the Mexican border. The main crisis during Trump's term was Covid that he pretended wasn't there. He failed badly at grappling with it, enough that it contributed to his reelection loss.
