Jim Jordan now has the option of asking the DOJ to hold Pomerantz, a former DOJ prosecutor, in contempt of the Congressional subpoena for not helping Jim Jordan interfere with a current and ongoing DOJ criminal investigation of Trump.

That's along the lines of Congressman Mo Brooks asking the DOJ to help defend him with lawsuits against him that resulted from Brooks delivering an inciteful speech at the Ellipse that helped Trump incite the riot on Congress at the Capitol (which was done on Brooks' own time and outside the realm of Congress). The DOJ declined to help Brooks.

Bannon was White House Chief Strategist and Senior Counselor to Trump.

That was before Trump fired him. But later, Trump was once again on good terms with him after he lost to Biden, so much so that he preemptively pardoned Bannon for financial crimes for which he hadn't yet been convicted.

Bannon's two financial associates were convicted and sentenced to about 3 years in prison. Bannon was indicted in the state of NY for the same 'We Build The Wall' scam. He was also indicted by a federal grand jury for refusing to testify to Congress.
