‘I’ve Had It With This Guy’: G.O.P. Leaders Privately Blasted Trump After Jan. 6 excerpt: "In the days after the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol building, the two top Republicans in Congress, Representative Kevin McCarthy and Senator Mitch McConnell, told associates they believed President Trump was responsible for inciting the deadly riot and vowed to drive him from politics. Mr. McCarthy went so far as to say he would push Mr. Trump to resign immediately: “I’ve had it with this guy,” he told a group of Republican leaders. But within weeks both men backed off an all-out fight with Mr. Trump because they feared retribution from him and his political movement. Their drive to act faded fast as it became clear it would mean difficult votes that would put them at odds with most of their colleagues. “I didn’t get to be leader by voting with five people in the conference,” Mr. McConnell, the Senate Republican leader, told a friend. The confidential expressions of outrage from Mr. McCarthy and Mr. McConnell, which have not been previously reported, illustrate the immense gulf between what Republican leaders say privately about Mr. Trump and their public deference to a man whose hold on the party has gone virtually unchallenged for half a decade. The leaders’ swift retreat in January 2021 represented a capitulation at a moment of extraordinary political weakness for Mr. Trump — perhaps the last and best chance for mainstream Republicans to reclaim control of their party from a leader who had stoked an insurrection against American democracy itself."
Before walking away from the interview, Trump boasted about an alleged hole-in-one he made. Trump walks out of Piers Morgan interview after being pressed on 2020 election excerpt: "The host added that Trump initially tried to end the interview by declaring “That’s it!” but remained in his seat to discuss a recent hole-in-one he scored while playing golf. After that discussion, the former president stood up with a “hateful” look and ordered the crew members to turn the cameras off."

Marilyn Fassell, who was arrested in September after she and her husband Thomas Fassell turned themselves in, asked to have the non-possession restriction lifted in her pretrial order, although she did not ask the judge to lift a restriction against destructive devices. "[Fassell] advises that her husband umpires games in a baseball league, which frequently schedules its games at night, keeping him away from home till late," her attorneys said in a court filing."

Trump's endorsement of Oz reframes the Pennsylvania GOP Senate contest excerpt: "Trump's decision surprised and angered some conservatives. But Trump, a former reality TV star himself, made it clear that Oz's celebrity was a big factor in his choice. "Tremendous, tremendous career," Trump said at a recent rally. "And they liked him for a long time. That's like a poll. You know, when you're on television for 18 years, that's like a poll." He's also said he thinks Oz is more likely to win over a swath of Pennsylvania voters. "Women, in particular, are drawn to Dr. Oz for his advice and counsel," Trump said in a statement announcing his endorsement. "I have seen this many times over the years. They know him, believe in him, and trust him." 'We caught them': Trump hypes 'explosive' 2020 election litigation in Michigan excerpt: "Former President Donald Trump touted the "explosive" 2020 election fraud lawsuit in Antrim County, Michigan, in a campaign call on Wednesday. Trump spoke for roughly five minutes during a telephone town hall event for Matthew DePerno, a Republican candidate for Michigan attorney general who is spearheading the litigation, according to the Detroit News. "The mistake had to be corrected," Trump said. "We caught them. And they said, 'Well, we made a little mistake.' It wasn't a mistake at all. It was being caught." DePerno became the face of the battle against officials over election results in Antrim County, a jurisdiction in northern Michigan with about 23,000 residents, in a lawsuit that initially focused on a local marijuana retailer proposal. He and his client, Antrim County resident William Bailey, alleged that the county voting machines were hacked, changing the votes, spurred on by the results initially showing President Joe Biden winning the race. But tabulation errors were quickly discovered, and once rectified, Trump was shown to be the victor."
Yup, you caught us. We give up. You're the real president in Antrim County, Don. There, now shut the fuck up and do something good with your life and fortune for a change.
Don-boy has given us the true meaning and results of narcissism and the dummies that are attracted to a dumb son of a bitch like flies to shit.
The error in Antrim, County was clerical and accidental. Trump and his cohorts like LIndell have used it to make baseless allegations that the voting machines were rigged. Clerical errors will be numerous if Trump's supporters have their way and ban voting machines and have many millions of votes in a state counted by hand. It will magnify small errors like what occurred in Antrim.
