At the time of the Sandy hook shooting, I was a regular listener to Alex Jones.

Al he would talk about was what he called 'Sandy Hoax' and how it was a false flag operation by the government to take away guns from law abiding citizens, and the parents and children were all crisis actors.

Well, he finally got his comeuppance

Alex Jones' Infowars files Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Texas

Infowars filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in Texas as the website's founder and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones faces defamation lawsuits over his comments that the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting was a hoax.

The bankruptcy filing Sunday puts civil litigation on hold while the business reorganizes its finances.

In its court filing, Infowars said it had estimated assets of $50,000 or less and estimated liabilities of $1 million to $10 million. Creditors listed in the bankruptcy filing include relatives of some of the 20 children and six educators killed in the 2012 school massacre in Connecticut.

The plaintiffs in that case have said they have been subjected to harassment and death threats from Jones' followers because of the hoax conspiracy that Jones promoted. Jones has since conceded the shooting did happen. The families have already won defamation lawsuits against Jones.

Another newly filed lawsuit accuses Jones of hiding millions of dollars

Grassley will be 89 when 2022 midterm elections are held. If reelected, he'd be 95 at the end of another U.S. Senate term.

Not if the government locates those millions of dollars Jones is alleged to be hiding in foreign banks and in offshore accounts.

Alex Jones was a speaker at Trump's pre-riot, rebel-rousing rally at the Ellipse.

    He sued Pelosi.

    https://thehill.com/policy/national...-and-jan-6-panel-planning-to-plead-the-fifth/

    excerpt:

"The lawsuit, which was filed on Monday in Washington, D.C. district court, also reveals that Jones has informed the committee of his intent to plead the Fifth Amendment if compelled to appear before the panel for a deposition, currently set for Jan. 10.

Jones also said he informed the committee that he will raise First Amendment objections when the panel asks about “constitutionally protected political and journalistic activity.” The radio host, however, said the committee has disputed his assertions.

The House select committee subpoenaed Jones on Nov. 22, requesting that he appear for a deposition and produce documents related to the Jan. 6 attack. He revealed in Monday’s lawsuit that the panel also subpoenaed AT&T for “comprehensive information” relating to his communications between Nov. 1, 2020 and Jan. 31, 2021."

The GOP is so fearful Grassley might lose his seat that it tried to keep a Democrat competitor out of the race because of an issue that came down to three signatures of members of the public. The Iowa Supreme Court overruled the GOP.

Spindell was one of the WI fake electors for Trump, yet he presided over the WI state Electoral Commission that concluded that nothing illegal was done.

Union wants a judge to throw out a finding that Republican fake electors from Wisconsin violated no laws - AmpGoo Entertainment and news from the worlds!

    excerpt:

"A union is asking a judge to overturn a finding that Republicans did not violate electoral laws when they claimed to be Wisconsin's presidential election after Democrat Joe Biden won the state.

The state arm of the Service Employees International Union argues that the state Electoral Commission mishandled its wrong voter complaint by allowing Commissioner Bob Spindell to attend its deliberations. Spindell is one of 10 Republicans who claimed to be an elector for the state.

"It is an inviolable principle of justice that a person cannot act as a judge presiding over a complaint about the inappropriateness of his own conduct," Mel Barnes, a union lawyer, wrote in a court filing last week.

The union also filed a lawsuit Thursday against the commission and Spindell under the state's Open Records Act, arguing that he failed to provide all documents related to public statements he made in November about the wrong voter complaint.

In its main lawsuit, the union is asking Dane County District Judge Frank Remington to overturn the Commission's March decision and return it to the Commission so it can consider the case without Spindell."

They were fake electors meant to sow confusion during Pence's reading of the electoral slates on Jan. 6 to try to nefariously take advantage of the Electoral Count Act (a confusion that Pence anticipated and thwarted by saying that only authentic electors would be counted).

If alternate slates to replace the original slates would somehow have been deemed necessary after Jan. 6, they would need to have been selected and certified by state officials, which is very difficult due to state laws that prohibit the use of tactics to frivolously overthrow legitimate slates.

The claims of legitimacy of fake slates by people like Spindell is a farce.

The National Archives didn't accept the fake slates that were submitted to it by Trump's allies, and Pence didn't count them on Jan. 6.

Elections official speaks at rally pushing political violence and conspiracies

    excerpt:

"Robert Spindell, one of three Republicans on the Wisconsin Elections Commission stood by as speakers spread conspiracy theories about election fraud and COVID-19, compared the 2020 presidential election to Pearl Harbor and advocated for the violent overthrow of the government.

Spindell, in his short speech to the flag-waving and MAGA hat wearing crowd of Trump voters, said he was attending the rally as a private citizen, not in his capacity as a government official. He said the election fraud committed in the 1950s and 60s by former Chicago Mayor Richard J. Daley shows election fraud could have been committed this year.

While he did not give any specific examples of voter fraud in Wisconsin, Spindell implied, falsely, that it had happened."

Trump never had the chance to see the unrest that would have occurred if he had been successful in stealing the 2020 election.

Let’s not forget signing bogus documentation with the intent to commit fraud.
