Trump is hoping that Mike Pence will do something tomorrow that will change the course of the electoral college votes, but what he doesn't understand is Mike Pence's position is purely ceremonial.

To use an Academy Award analogy: Mike Pence is the presenter who is handed the envelope, and the American people are the members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Congress are the rules officials.

So unless Mike Pence pulls a Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway and mistakenly announces Trump as the winner, then quickly, corrects himself because he would be in violation of the law, Joe Biden will be certified as next president of the United States.

Also in Georgia, a federal judge turned down a case motion to invalidate the Georgia Election Confirmation so Their Republican Legislators could declare Trump the winner. I think that was Trump's 61st loss in a futile effort to stay out of prison. Last night in a speech in Dalton Georgia Trump told the crowd he hoped Mike Pence would step up and declare him winner of the election, regardless of fifty states having certified the Biden victory.
