It is starting to add up in the Midwest. I went to take my car in for an oil change and the dealership was empty … barren. There was the service writer, one parts man, two mechanics, and one cashier. I have a new Jap car and went to the dealership! Not a single sales manor manager there! Our grocer is using the clear se-through shields at the cash register. They have all the doors locked except for the main entry. Gas is down to $1.36/gallon. There is nothing going on in town.

 

You should see the freeways in LA. Traffic is like the 70s, and the air is better than usual.

This is the kind of "educated" language heard when cameras record folks at Trump rallies. Some of the things I've heard people say are beyond mind-boggling. When people on the street can't name how many states are in the U.S., or who the last president was ( or even who the very first president was ), or which state is an island ( to which many people answer Rhode Island ), or how many branches of our federal government there are, or what document set the outline for our U.S. government, or what the last state to join the U.S. was - we're in deep sh*t. And these people vote!!! Very easily BS-ed because it's a struggle and it takes reading and study to know who stands for what. It's easier to just vote for a guy who promises very simple answers to very complex problems. Anyone remember who promised "a chicken in every pot." ??? And the resulting catastrophe?

Some of these mental "giants" bought the story of Hillary Clinton running a child prostitution ring from pizza shops around the country. They bought the story of Obama being a non-American and a Muslim terrorist. So it's no small wonder that they believe Trump is going to make their world wonderful and bring back high-paying manufacturing jobs, and all the other sh*t he spews.

Black people make up about 33% of the population in Louisiana, which has the fourth largest number of Covid-19 cases in the country. The majority of deaths are in New Orleans.

Michigan officials said that African Americans make up 40% of the 845 reported deaths in the state, where the population is 14% black. The state’s cases are most concentrated in Detroit—the death rate in the city accounts for 40% of the state’s fatalities.

In Illinois, black people make up 14% of the population but account for 30% of confirmed cases and 41% of deaths statewide. More than half of the state’s deaths have been in Chicago, where mayor Lori Lightfood said on Monday that African Americans made up 72% of the city’s coronavirus deaths despite comprising only about a third of its 2.7 million residents.

Wisconsin officials have reported that more than half of the state’s 86 confirmed deaths are in the state’s largest city, Milwaukee. In Milwaukee County, African Americans make up 26% of the population, but about 70% of those who have died from the virus were black."

Trump appears to be making federal aid to states contingent upon requests made by the Republican polticians that he wants, requests that were originally made by Democratic officials, so that he can prop up his party for 2020 elections.

It also imparts a sense into the general public that they better have Republicans in control so that Trump will honor the requests for federal aid.

The political message was hardly subtle: Trump seemed to be signaling that Colorado is receiving medical equipment during a pandemic because of his political connection to a GOP senator."

They'd be puking blood. Hypocrisy is embedded in U.S. politics. Muck-mouth McConnell said on TV that he and the Repubs were going to block Obama's proposals so as to make him a 1-term President. He said that was their main goal. Then muck-mouth McConnell and his cronies called Obama a "do nothing" president when he got mostly nothing done - except for the ACA, which the Repubs want to eliminate. They set out to handcuff Obama and then accuse him of getting nothing done.

Now - with Trump as President - spineless, useless, slimeball, muck-mouth McConnell cries like the infant he is whenever a Dem blocks or opposes a Trump proposal. I guess he doesn't like it when someone hits back or he gets a taste of his own medicine. McConnell has ABSOLUTELY NO INTEGRITY. He's a first rate hypocrite, liar, and cry-baby.

Now, muck-mouth McConnel is accusing the Dems of blocking a bill where the Dems are demanding more money in the next stimulus package for hospitals and municipalities dealing with the corona virus pandemic. Trump and the Repubs want the money to go businesses instead. Like always ……….. the Repubs are only about business. Screw the people, screw the hospitals, screw the municipalities. The business community is where most of their campaign donations come from. Look for more HUGE tax relief for businesses and corporations again ……….. courtesy of the Republicans.

And as the cherry on top - Trump has fired the independent watchdog that would have overseen the distribution of all these trillions of dollars in economic aid & relief. Now we taxpayers have no way of knowing where that money is going, where it ends up, and whose greedy, filthy hands it lands in. And the Repubs claim to be "for the people"?????????? Are you sh*ttin" me??????????

Like the link says most black people don't like him.No one likes Democrats either and Bidin has a racist past. I could see more hate voting for black people. A good percent of Trump's vote seem to come down to that emotion towards government officials. But a lot of them probably see the difference between the two parties.

Democrats are racist to black people according to Republicans because they lie to them about racism. It's actually means you think less of them to say they are too weak to make it. So pretty much anytime you as a black person are told there is racism or you suffer from it well it's probably your mistake because slavery was 2 centuries ago.

Republicans are racist to black people according to Democrats because they ignore systematic bias in law enforcement and allow blatant or ignorant forms of racism to exist on the idea that it's not even there and if it is oh well free speech.

Traditionally black people have taken a certain side in that and I think that will continue to be the case. Trump has taken a side and many of his voters have as well. The one or two token black people at his rallies are often mentioned to disprove his racism. People can be paid and isn't that the very definition of identity politics? Like all that matters is your race and it's super important to make that part of who we are as a platform. You are not just a trump voter you are a black Trump voter.

I thought Republicans already had most of the black vote anyway? Only welfare queens vote Democrat and in the all inclusive GOP we assume a brothers got a job.
