For his coronavirus briefings, Trump should play Fox News on a big screen for everyone and let Sean Hannity field the questions.

In Trump’s Marathon Briefings, the Answers and the Message Are Often Contradictory
The president does not need adversaries to dispute his statements. He does that all by himself.

In Trump’s Marathon Briefings, the Answers and the Message Are Often Contradictory

    excerpt:

"WASHINGTON — President Trump left little room for doubt. “We’re going to put a hold on money spent to the W.H.O.,” he said, referring to the World Health Organization. “We’re going to put a very powerful hold on it.”

But when he was asked a bit later whether it was the right time to delay money for the health agency in the middle of a pandemic, he denied that he said he would. “I’m not saying that I’m going to do it,” he said during his news briefing on Tuesday. “But we’re going to look at it.”

“You did say you were going to do it,” a reporter pointed out.

“No, I didn’t,” he said. “I said we’re going to look at it.”"

Trump is known for his self-contradictory statements.

At a 2016 presidential debate, another candidate stated that Trump repeats himself.

    Trump's reply: "I don't repeat myself. I don't repeat myself. I don't repeat myself."

The rural regions in the U.S. aren't being spared.

Coronavirus Was Slow to Spread to Rural America. Not Anymore.

Coronavirus Was Slow to Spread to Rural America. Not Anymore.

    excerpt:

"Grace Rhodes was getting worried last month as she watched the coronavirus tear through New York and Chicago. But her 8,000-person hometown in Southern Illinois still had no reported cases, and her boss at her pharmacy job assured her: “It’ll never get here.”

Now it has. A new wave of coronavirus cases is spreading deep into rural corners of the country where people once hoped their communities might be shielded because of their isolation from hard-hit urban centers and the natural social distancing of life in the countryside.

The coronavirus has officially reached more than two-thirds of the country’s rural counties, with one in 10 reporting at least one death. Doctors and elected officials are warning that a late-arriving wave of illness could overwhelm rural communities that are older, poorer and sicker than much of the country, and already dangerously short on medical help."

"An American civil servant whose disclosure of an affair between Bill Clinton and a White House intern nearly brought down his presidency has died.

Linda Tripp, 70, passed away after suffering from pancreatic cancer, her family told US media on Wednesday.

Recordings Ms Tripp made of her conversations with Monica Lewinsky became central to the 1998 impeachment trial of then President Clinton.

She was variously praised as a whistle-blower and denounced as a partisan.

The former civil servant, who worked at the Pentagon and had a friendship with Ms Lewinsky despite their 24-year age difference, learnt that the younger woman had had a sexual relationship with the president and began secretly recording their conversations in 1997"

Have you ever listened to some of his loyal base speak on TV?? How they ever got out of elementary school is beyond me. They use the wrong words, can't speak in complete, well-thought out sentences, and grammar is terrible. Pretty easy targets to bullsh*t and brainwash. Some of the things they say are mind-boggling.

"We seen what 'em air librals done ta r Constitution. We seen eva-thing a done to fool us 'bout 'is hayer crona va-ris. Weez fixin' ta vote fer Trump ageee-in."

^^^^ This is how many of them speak in front of TV cameras. Try sounding it out phonetically. The "a" preceding the word "done" is pronounced as a long a.

Listening to adult people speak like this is comical. I'll just bet they're proficient in all the subjects they had in school - spelling, grammar, American history, English(?!!)
