Ok well two years ago after getting stoned, dropping shrooms, taking dozens of ectasy pills, snorting blow, going from female to female, getting in a car accident with some people and seeing a friend of mine almost die in my arms, being suicidal for 2 years, and a whole mess of other things I decided I was done. That's it.. I was done. GOD HELP ME!!

So I got sober. Completely. No cigarettes or anything. But more importantly I decided I wanted to know God. So I was like ok I'm putting down my pride admitting I'm wrong and saying ok God who are you? I realized it was the God of the Bible. I had some mentors help me along the way and some friends and family and well the Holy Spirit came and dwelt in me.

I pray in tongues, I prophecy over people, I receive words of knowledge, I've gotten prophetic dreams, I have literally cast demons out of a friend of mine who is an ex-new ager... I mean to me it is now obvious that Jesus Christ is real..

But like beyond all the "cool" things I've seen since I've been filled with His Spirit is just falling in love with Him.. it sounds cheesy but really it's like a for real thing I can't explain it all that great but I just love Him and want others to too...

 

Hahaha ok I know your truly joking now. But that's fucked up all that shit happened to you. If it even did. But still, your no one to push your views onto people who don't fucking want to hear them. So why are you wasting your time trying and getting nowhere when there are actually people like you who need and WANT help?

 

and I take it I can't get an answer on how to "have a real convo with god" right? I've been sittin here saying SHOW ME A SIGN! for the past 10 minutes and I got nothing.

 

I didn't know you actually wanted to do it for real.

10 minutes is a long time, He's only been waiting 18 years for you. Maybe show Him how committed you are. It took me about 5 months of being sober, reading His word, and praying until I really started hearing from Him. It's cause we have so much garbage in our lives it blocks God's voice out.

The word talks about God being light and satan being darkness. So my suggestion is that right now in the name of Jesus Christ you declare your darkness to leave for eternity and ask Yahweh to fill you with His light. Ask Him to give you eyes to see and ears to hear. Ask Him to have mercy on you. And ask Him to forgive you. And ask Him to speak to you. Hopefully you can hear Him.

Yeah and everything i've gotten I've gotten on my own or with help from PEOPLE. Not god. God's nowhere to be found when innocent people die every day. God's nowhere to found unless something good happens. And I was joking. I'm already FOUND. I never needed any help from him before and i'm doing JUST FINE. I wouldn't be doing any better at all if I would of been a church boy my whole 18 years. I may be delusional and THINK that everything I have now is because of him, but it's not. I have eye's and ear's already. They work fine. I can think for myself bud. I live MY life by MY beliefs. There's no way i'd quit smoking the herb and all around partying for "God". Life is supposed to be spent living, not staying squeaky clean so you can make it to some "heaven" that may or may not exist.

Christian literally means "He who is covered with holy anointing oil", so looks like you better let the herb back into your life, it's a central part of Christianity, even if the Church, the organisation that destroyed the roots of the religion, would like you to think otherwise.

Jesus attempted to stop people going to pray at the temples, and worshipping idols, but today modern Christians pray at the feet of statues, idols to the very man who tried to stop their use. The Church is full of hypocritical sinners who would like to justify their crimes by claiming that the Lord will offer them forgiveness and sanctuary.

We have already been blessed by that sanctuary, and it is here on earth. Each and every plant, each and every tree, each and every drop of water is ours to use or abuse. Our destiny is simply to enjoy this life, as to avoid this is to reject what we have been given by our creator, whether he be man, beast, or simply matter itself.

Christianity and organised religion are no different from any other cult out there, it is belief itself that differs. Believe in God, for we all know that he is true. What we do not know is what he is, as he could be an atom, a man, a universe, anything. I am no different to Jesus, and neither are you, he was but a man who used a little trickery to show people the truth, as sadly we fail to believe things until we are shown overwhelming evidence or are tricked into believing them.

Do not become a slave to your beliefs, let your beliefs improve your life, but not become your life entirely. God is in everything we know and love, and so you do not have to dedicate your life to him, but instead, dedicate it to the things you enjoy, the people you care about, your friends, and you will find him there.

If you want to smoke the herb, smoke the herb, if you do not feel that the herb is right for you, then do not smoke it. It is as simple as that, and while for most it aids spirituality and helps one come to terms with who or what God really is, it is not for everyone. Just like beliefs, I accept that I use the herb for good reasons, but that not everyone likes or wants to use it, and so I do not try to push people into liking it. The same is true of what I believe, as I too believe in God, (though not necessarily in the textbook "Guy sitting on a throne in the clouds" sense) but I do not try to make others believe. It is not all about what you believe, as long as you believe something.

I am truly glad you are off drugs and trying to be a better person. Wisdom isn't for everyone..and better you try and help others and feel a sense of purpose than be floating around aimlessly doing drugs.

I am serious here though.. Trying to help others find Jesus is not helpful. Jesus will find them on his own, right?

Instead of trying to preach, you should listen to the collective experiences of the psychedelic community.
