I'd like to see you stay around because you can make a very good contribution and having another Prabhupadanuga around here steadily would be nice. [IMG]

that is very kind spook prabhu;)

regardless of iskcons past some of us are tru and kind individuals who take the path of krsna bhakti seriously. i am not here to preach to anyone, as i said thats never been my service, (i have always been a pujari since im young) i have no interest in making others like me, or have my ideals of prabhupada, but, rather to have nice priti laksanam.

    love
    manu

I think that's a reason I didn't join up with ISKCON in the early days, even though I was intensely attracted to SP and disciples...I wasn't suited to or interested in a life of all-out preaching and that's what it was all about then. If it had been a monastic order I would have been more likely to have joined.

Others on the board here might find this interesting...I had studied yoga under an Indian-born "guru" and found him and his disciples very wanting, and was also familiar with the prominent Indian spiritual teachers of the day and didn't think much of any of them...when I discovered SP's movement, disciples, and books...basically the Gita, Bhagavatam Canto One, Krishna book, and Back to Godhead at that time...I knew I had the real thing.

    jai. very nice.

yaa i guess it was all about preaching back then, and opening temples, krsna has been kind to me in that he lets me perform his worship. its all ive ever wanted. when i was a child i remember the sanskrit chanting and dreamed of performing such rites. krsna has fulfilled this desire :)
