actually nimrod, i really dont give a fuck about this subject. the main reason i even started on this subject s cuz i thought chicago's initial thread was funny. i know what im doin with my life and have my beliefes or whatever the fuck they are called. and the only reason i kept adding to this thread is cuz douchebags like you get so bent out of shape about stuff like this. you get all defensive and shit and make a big deal. try to make peope think you re smart cuz you read a bunch of books that where a complete waste of time and know alot about the fairytale of jesus and his buddies. i really dont give ashit about religion or any of this, its just fun watching you get all pissed off and make up stupid insults for me. the scubasteveturbojerkoff was particularly original. good job on that one. ur still an idiot.

How can you say nimrod gets bent out of shape when someone so ignorant and small minded says something like that? Ok, i agree religions fucks shit up, but dont you think you would have gotten better replies if you had worded your opinion more maturely? Everyone of my posts was to better your knowledge, in hopes you would see the bigger picture with more detail, not just the vague outlines. Search in wikipedia for Gnosticism, and the demi-urge, the demi-urge goes with your opinion of how religions fuck shit up, because God himself is ignorant to the fact he was created by a higher being. And when you say someone is an idiot for defending religion, then you my friend have a lot to learn. Defending religion isn't following religion, it is merely stating the reasons why it failed, something you don't have the knowledge to do yet. Organized religion is wrong, forcing morals and teaching people how to live through religion is wrong, we are merely trying to help you understand more of this, even though we might have rubbed you the wrong way.

I hope one day you come across the knowledge I have come across.

I dont think Chicago_typewriter exists, I cant prove that he exists, I see he is writing but it could be someones alter ego on this site. But how do I know that he really is a living breathing entity?

And If there is a child who's parents beat them, raped them, and abandoned them and the only hope that child has in life is believing in some god(False or not) and if it makes that child feel better and gives him/her the will to live, then that god exists.

I'm not saying that I believe you're wrong. I'm just asking... if there is no God, then where did the idea of 'God' come from? Why is that so many people can 'feel' this spiritual connection to something bigger?

Also, why does belief in God automatically mean that we believe we are more important than all of nature? Shouldn't religion make us equal to all of life because the same entity created us all?

Yea its just like me and r33f have been saying. The cultural view of god is a brainwashed version of the Demi-urge. Rarely ever referring to the god each religion intends to, because of the Demi-urges physical presence, and his Cronies, who have never met him persay, but knew him enough to corrupt true essense of religion for their own personal, ethnocentric, or cultural benefit. The major connection in showing you though, is the reason for the demi-urges fuckup. Is that he thought "himself" only supreme in the universe. When it wasn't true, he was just a further reaching emanation. Yet this "Emission of divine energly light intelligence super god, had only reached a point where it could create. It had gone full circle, yet spiraled down, like following down a slinky. He thought he was supreme, if you think you are supreme. Your only mimicking the demi-urge.
