I never had a problem with what you think. you were the one who tried to push your opinion on me in the first place, thinking that I was somehow in opposition. all I did was respond by telling you that your judgement is illogical, and now you seem to be upset

 

Dude she never forced anything, it was you that tried to tell her what is or isn't good. She just likes Tom Morrello and you don't, it's pretty simple to accept.

 

Not to troll, but I really don't CARE that Yngwie scalloped his guitars and plays in 33/24th time in the Phyrigian to Mesopotamian modes in E flat minor - his music sounds like somebody on crystal meth falsettoing

"bloodleloodleloodleloodleboodleoodlydoolewheeeeeeee" repeatedly and often.

 

go on a file sharing program and download a video of Tom Morello playing guitar, then download a video of Yngwie Malmsteen playing guitar. you will see what I mean

and I never said there was anything wrong with preferring Rage Against the Machine over Yngwie, but as I said, skill level is not subjective

what you arent doing is reading my posts. I never tried to stop you from having an opinion, I simply tried to prove to you it is an ignorant opinion. heres a definition of ignorant:

3. Unaware or uninformed.

what you tried to tell me is that Tom Morello is among the most skilled guitarists, and this simply isnt true. if your attention span has held out this long, then you should understand my point by now

Er, let me correct my statement then. It does sound like someone screaming "dooblylooblylooblelooblebloobleloobleblooblydlooblywooooo" really fast and really loud, but some people dig it.

MANY people think it's very fast, very clever and technically brilliant, but is like A DENTIST'S DRILL GOING INTO YOUR FOREHEAD within a few minutes.

here, Ill give you one analogy. theres two guys standing in a field, one of them is Yngwie and the other is Tom Morello. Yngwie has a basketball and he throws it 100 feet, while Tom Morello throws the same basketball only 50 feet. what youre trying to tell me is that Tom Morello threw the basketball further than Yngwie, which is obviously false.

I just find it so comical that you are refusing to understand that I like how Tom plays and think hes one of the best.. you were right about the first thing you said, but apparently you too have failed to see that this really isnt a question of opinion. there is a line between what is subjective and what is not. why is this such a difficult concept for you people to understand?
