    ohh damn i thought i was the only 1 to remember this show..the theme is still etched in my mind forever
    & always wanted 1 of those amphibios atv';s ...still do
    weird how u still remember such odd things

    & these younger ones remembering it ..havent seen it on air since i was maybe 10..12 how the hell can u remember it hippi i am unless it was a past life?

    oh yeah, those were my kid years.
    i watched them so much when i was younger.
    probably why i love lsd so much, lol. =]

    lol, gotta love some banana splits!....if you listen to the tune 'the place where the music comes out' you can unmistakeably hear one of the cats from the Turtles (and Zappa's band) on the lead vocals ;)

    I was once told I had to sing the Banana Splits theme to get my paycheck at work. I could only remember the LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA part, but it was more than anyone else had been able to come up with that day. :)

    it WAS Drooper wasn't it???... sent the theme tune the other day to my love for a little bit of nostalgia stirring :D
