Meh...why do people feel the need to say another type of music that someone besides them likes sucks? You may think country sucks, but that doesn't mean the rednecks and cowboys and the such who like it thinks it sucks. Amazingly enough, people will have different tastes in music than you, why does it matter to you if some kid goes home and turns on a Rites Of Spring and sits in his room listening to it the rest of the night?

well given the nature of both bands, in that they have a sound all of thier own, I can see where your're comming from

that being said if I were going to recomend something to someone who liked Arcade Fire I would have to say Broken Social Scene would be my number one pick too

Well, I think there's indeed a certain similarity between Clap your hands say yeah and The Arcade Fire. You've sent me this song bu CYHSY (thank you so much for that, I love it! ) and I've been looking for some others, and something that immediately captured my attention was the way of singing. Just like Win Butler, the CYHSY singer has a really passionated voice and well yes, I hear the similarity.

 

i really cant compare the arcade fire to anybody...i dont see how they are similar to CYHSY

some people say wolf parade is also like arcade fire, but once again i dont see it...they are all very good bands non the less
