After last night's debate I'm now convinced that Joe Biden needs to retire. He came across as a confused old man.
Trump on the other hand lied continuously. That man needs to be retired, by force if necessary!
The debate seems to have given Trump a boost, but keep in mind he gets sentenced in 2 weeks.
Their next debate is on September 10th.

Biden looked pretty feeble, was confused some of the time and did nothing to help himself. Trump overwhelmed him with the usual bullshit , didn't answer the questions and showed exactly what a lying prick he is. WOE IS US!!

The moderators allowed Trump to lie. They should have shut him down immediately by fact checking his every answer, but they didn't.

Biden looked bad, but if you listened to his answers he was spot on.
Do you want a clown act with all the bells and whistles, or someone who is a terrible debater but gets the job done?

Trump turned 78 on June 14, 2024. Flag Day. Soon to be known as Donald Day.

There is a HUGE difference between what candidates SAY and what they can actually get done. Debates are mostly fodder for the media.

While i'm opposed to assassination, I must consider the greater good. If Trump had been killed and the GOP was forced to replace him then perhaps Biden would step down and leave the Democratic nomination to a younger candidate. Sadly, we may have to cut off the head of the MAGA snake to put this chapter behind us.

Bill Mahr is claiming violence damages the left wing, when everyone has been voting for whoever advertises the most, for over twenty years, proving there's no such thing as a left wing.

In America, the customer is always right, and if violence is what they pay for, violence it will be.

The shoot involved an assault rifle, and I'm sure gun fans will learn every detail of what model it was, but he was at the outside range for accurate fire. Its a medium range weapon.

No doubt, the NRA will claim guns don't kill people.

We've already had one attempted political assassination, involving a swarm of drones.

Its a cheap way of deciding elections. No need for an electoral college. Either you get what you paid for, or you kill someone.

At this point of time, one can say that gun violence in the U.S has become a threat to the democratic process itself. Four American presidents have been gunned down in the past.

It is high time legislation is created to ensure hard controls on possession of guns and assault weapons.

My sympathies for those killed and injured in this assassination attempt, including the young perpetrator who had been brainwashed to believe that violence can be a solution to all problems.

Unfortunately in today's society, violence is deemed to be the answer.
Guns and more guns is seen as the only solution.

Interestingly, the communist dictator Mao had associated political power with the gun.

"Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun ", is a well-known phrase of his.

The dictatorship of the gunman is thus a challenge to the sovereignty of a democratically elected government and democratic constitution.

A gun is a projection of power. For those who feel threatened by change, or someone who is different from them, it is a means to neutralize that threat from a safe distance. No need to get your hands dirty. No need to empathize. No need for rational thought. No need for law and order and all that court stuff.
Just a means to eliminate any discomfort you may have.

Certain politicians latch on to the need of the selfish and ignorant for power and praise the gun as an easy solution to all perceived troubles. And since the selfish and ignorant have little reasoning power (that's why they are selfish and ignorant), they buy into it lock, stock, and barrel.

Gun violence doesn't play a role in our politics, just ask the NRA. No matter how many people you shoot, unless you shoot a politician, its not political.

Political assassination dates back to Lincoln, and should be included in the constitution, as a valid way to exchange political power. Money talks, dead people don't.

Just the fact Donald Duck is a free man, is all the evidence anyone sane needs to know for a fact, we no longer have a government.
