That Gift You Didn't Like

Thanks Secret. I am glad the holidays are over. Mom died in December 2008 and this is never a good time of year for me.

After opening presents,from then on, I thank baby jesus for Gin and Tonic, gets me through the rest of the day

 

well didn't get, didn't give, wasn't expecting. at least not specifically. always thankful for my pension that pays the rent and keeps me fed.
i'm also thankful for not having the stress of the whole thing.
i guess the only thing i can think of i didn't want, didn't come to me anyway,
and that would be holiday reduction in buss schedules,
all the rediculous level of vehicular traffic.
if someone could take all the streets and parking lots and make parks out of them,
replacing the arterials with narrow gauge railways,
i mean they could have all the cars and the pavement and i could have a world with little trains instead,
i'd be happy with that.
i wouldn't tell anyone they couldn't have a car, just no mass producing of them, no gas stations,
and the government not maintaining any pavement other then pedestrian walks and bus routes.
i'd like to just swap the planet i'm living on, with someone on one more like i'd like,
who'd like to try living on this one.
we'd probably have to swap bodies to be able to live on each other's worlds,
but that would be ok with me too.

 

Somebody must have a frequently regifted 45 year old fruitcake sitting around somewhere...


and I'm not talking about VG....

I did get a couple cards with glitter on them. I hate glitter, it gets everywhere. They are definitely up for grabs.

I will take the glitter in a small amount. I can utilize it for decorating cards that i make sometimes.....
