Would have been fucked up if in 1989 when he ran the ad ( which didnt actually reference the case) he knew those 5 men were innocent.

But he didnt. It was late 80s, everyone was sick of the crime rate, runs an ad calling for the death penalty

This. These boys had their lives ruined, the american justice system completely failed them, and Trump continued to insist on their guilt years after they were exonerated. He had no empathy for the fact that these men had spent most of their lives in prison for a crime they didnt commit.

3 out of 4 of those congresswomen are natural born american citizens. So basically he's just saying the US government is a complete and total catastrophe. Because that's where they're from.

No it isn't. Real racism is primarily a 1-on-1 exchange of pure hate on the basis of race. Building hate into a system takes stated regulations to that effect. Where are they in the US?

 

The idea we have politics at all is the sleaze factor. Donald Duck getting elected against his own party leaders wishes, and demanding to be emperor to rousing applause is never to be confused with politics. You simply cannot have a democracy that doesn't represent half the people, and pretending you do is as low as it gets.
