I would normally vote third party if there was even a tolerable candidate (Bob Barr has hunted witches, so he's out for sure), and have voted for some unknown candidates over the years. But the stakes are too dire now. This time around, it's basically a vote on whether we want there to be civilization or not. Republicans want to see the whole world in flames so (they think) Jesus will come down from Hebbin and pat them on the butt.

If McCain's elected, there are very likely odds that none of us- and I mean not one single person who has ever posted on this site- will even be alive.

They've already threatened a first-strike attack on Russia, are talking in very threatening tones to Spain of all countries, and McCain's so senile that there's no limit to what catastrophic stuff he might dream up. If McCain's elected, you can bet your life that Russia's nukes will be targeting every US city by the inauguration, and McCain has made it absolutely clear that he'd be quite pleased if they do.

And I'm out of time again.

Under this administration, you might recall, at least one nuclear weapon was lost, and later found on a plane at an air force base used primarily for shipping cargo to the Middle East. It was supposedly put back into protective care again, and they think that was the only one that was lost like that, but under this political machine, there really isn't a "worst case scenario" that we can imagine that they couldn't actually do in an even worse fashion.

I'm shocked at your "it'll be fine, these Republican Party leaders are basically good people" kind of tone. I'm sure you know better. They're not basically good people, and they do not have our interests in mind at all.
